so delicious!. nero belgian waffle bar has two different types of waffle to choose from:liegewaffles, or brussels waffles. i had a brussels waffle without toppings and it was nice and light! i'm looking forward to visit this awesome place again!

i had been eyeing this place for a while - the last time i'd made plans with friends, turned out they wouldn't have been able to accommodate all of us. in general, nero's is always busy on weekend mornings, and there's almost always a wait, even to seat just two people. it's a great place, but also, it's extremely tiny. and then they have a policy that they won't put you on the waitlist unless all members of your party have arrived. so, getting there earlier than your friends won't get you in any faster.

they have two basic types of waffles, liegeand brussels and then you can choose your toppings. i loooveliegewaffles, and i chose the mocha toppings to go with it. my friend chose banella with brussels. we both really liked what we got, and it's pretty well priced too.

decent belgian waffle place with brussels style andliegestyle waffles to choose from. it's often packed with people at all times of the day. comparable to ones you get in belgium. i feel like the quality fluctuates - sometimes the taste is spot on, other times it is strangely off.
waffle: the bresilienne waffle has vanilla ice cream with whipping cream drizzled with caramel sauce and crumbled hazelnuts. it was pretty good and i would get that again.

nero has been on our list for awhile and since we love waffles we had to go. we ordered theliegemocha waffle, a hot chocolate and an americano. the waffle was delicious, we haven’t had a better waffle in the city. the waffle was warm and soft, and paired with the ice cream and espresso infused whipped cream made it the perfect match. if you haven't been here do yourself a favour and go! oh and the drinks were good as well! be prepared to wait though.

i would recommend nero if you're looking for a great belgian waffle cafe. nero is very tiny to say the least. inside the restaurant are about 6 tables, so if you're planning on dining in, its a good idea to head their early. the line begins to grow as soon as they open. they make 2 types of waffles, brussels and liege. if you have more of a sweet tooth your most likely to enjoy theliegewaffle, as they're sweet and chewy. if you're not so crazy about sweets go for a brussels waffle. i found that they are crispy, light, and don't have too much of a flavour to them. although their isn't much flavour to the brussels waffle the toppings do make up for it. for those who love coffee the mocha waffle will satisfy. if you're looking for something a little more refreshing i would recommend the heaven (strawberries) or fruti (assorted fruit) waffles. i took some 'mini' waffles to go and found that they were actually quite large. also, they are 5 for $10 which is quite a steal. of the 5 mini waffle flavours i most enjoyed the maple custard and walnut crumble waffle. the waffle itself was filled with custard and covered in crunchy walnuts.

nero should be synonymous for waffles. this cutesy little shop in downtown vancouver offers the best of the best waffles in town.  waffles can be eaten in two different styles but i personally prefer theliegestyle. a must for any sweet tooth to indulge in.

always a classic go-to for waffles. i love theirliegewaffles since i could make the brussels kind at home with our waffle maker. a consistent menu and offerings with decent prices. the fact that you can get 5 miniliegewaffles for $10 is a steal especially if you're craving for the chocolate covered ones.

have been here a couple times since most of friends have sweet tooth and sweet cravings. i'm personally not a big desert fan, as i'd rather get three main course and skip the desert, as for this place they do offer two kinds of waffle, theliegeand i kind remember the other one, pretty much one is softer and more fuller and the other one is wider and crisper but not that crisp. in terms of the ingredients they use the waffles have a hint of sweetness, and also the ice cream are great, taste wise is awesome, love all the ingredients they used.

overall i would recommend this place for a sweet tooth kind of people. definitely, a good place to chill also, and the place is rather small so the place rather gets really crowded and will definitely long lineups, super long lineups.

sooo good!!! i think we've tried almost all the flavours, and all are excellent. the recommendation is that you get them with theliegewaffles. the other ones, which i usually prefer have been super dry (even with ice cream), the handful of times i've had tried them.

definitely one of my go-to dessert spots in vancouver! the place has a cozy atmosphere, with a rustic, vintage feel to it and you're instantly welcomed by the delicious scent of vanilla and waffles.

my friend and i got the brésilienne and the biscuit. both were divine and heavenly, and we felt like we could eat 10 plates of it. nero serves bothliege(soft and sweet) and brussels (light and crispy) waffles. personally, i prefer theliegewaffles because it has more if a bite to it but you can't go wrong with either of them!

beware! it can get quite busy so you and your party might have to wait a bit for a spot. but it's definitely well worth the wait!

came here for a little dessert after lunch with my family. i had ordered a cappuccino and the brésilienne on a brussel waffle and a dame blanche on a liége waffle. the brésilienne was absolutely amazing, the hazelnut crumble complimented so well with the caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. the dame blanche was quite good as well, and i quite enjoyed having it on the soft chewy liége waffle. definitely want to come back here and taste the savoury variety waffles.

nero's waffles are absolutely perfect! theliegewaffles are a must, though im still not sure how to pronounce it. the tables round the back are together in a really tight space, but the food is still definitely worth coming for.

we shared theliegeau chocolat waffle, which came with a dark chocolate drizzle, fresh raspberries, and a big ol’ scoop of vanilla ice cream. the waffle was nice and light, with a sweetness to it and served warm. the dark chocolate and tart raspberries counterbalanced the sweetness of the waffle and vanilla ice cream.
