nero waffle bar, on the other hand – i will be returning in a heart beat — really wish there is one in seattle of that quality! the brussels waffle was the lightest i had ever had. took a significant bite, and it just disappeared in my mouth — light, airy and yet, the impact of the milky, eggy and buttery flavor was enormous. the sweet hint of waffle carried through every bite and stayed pleasantly in the mouth afterwards.

must try!. nero is definitely a place to go to on robson. you can’t beat their belgian waffles. i make it a rule to go once a month if i can.

the waffles are perfect - warm, crispy; the fruits are fresh, and the whipped cream just gives it the right taste. just writing about it makes my mouth water! there is a large variety of toppings to choose from so you'll never get bored. even if you do not consider yourself to be a waffle-lover, you should still try it. i brought my friend here (who is not a fan of waffles btw) and he loved it! so much so, he helped himself to a second serving.

the locale itself is not very large - whenever i go it is difficult to get seating so it can be a bit uncomfortable. going by yourself is probably the way to go here.

nero belgian waffle bar, a cozy little place with cute and elegant decor, and a sweet and lovely scent of vanilla. i was not a huge dessert fan and i had only thought of having belgian waffles for breakfast. i had seen pictures of waffles here posted by foodies. the most popular dish seemed to be the one with ice cream over waffle and chocolate sauce exploded on top of everything. just seemed a bit heavy for me. we did not get any of the ones with ice cream, such as ‘dame blanche’, or ‘bresilienne’. we got ‘heaven’, a more basic one with just strawberries and whipping cream, and ‘parisienne’, a savoury one...

maybe i picked the wrong waffle?. i had gone to nero last summer due to the hype of it. my friend and i had gone in the early evening with the intention to eat a "waffle dinner" there, so we were pretty hungry when we went.

the service was prompt, employees looked kind of squished in the little corner (there were 3 of them were back there). they greeted us with a smile. so definitely 5/5 in service.

i ended up ordering the bresilienne waffle. i remember because i took pictures. i was visually really appealing, though unfortunately it wasn't at all what i had expected. i thought i was going to bite into something really memorable. but instead i was rather bored with it, and ended up losing interest in it before i finished. though, being as hungry as we were, we still finished it.

perhaps it just wasn't the right waffle for me? but at the $6-10 range, a bit far for me personally, and not even close to being full... i would probably pick another place closer to home. so unless i happen to be in the area, and i try something else, this review will be solely on that one waffle. i do encourage others to give it a try.

great little place that's easily overlooked. i got a few mini cakes from there and they were just perfect. the service is friendly, quick and there are never any waits during the week.

i was first introduced to nero belgian waffle bar during one of my visits to guu garlic, which is located across the street. i stepped out of guu at around 10 pm and saw a huge line in front of nero waffle bar and was immediately curious to see what this place had to offer. unfortunately, i did not get chance to try nero’s waffles that night and it has been on my to do list since. we visited nero belgian waffle bar during lunch on a weekday and had little trouble finding seating inside or out. nero’s seating space is quite limited and if you do visit during peak hours you should expect a long wait. the menu they have a full blackboard menu outside of the store so anyone can try and decide what they are ordering as they wait. the menu is straightforward and gives customers the choice between two types of waffles, with a variety of sweet waffle dishes and a smaller variety of savoury waffles. we decided to order one savoury and two sweet plates.

so delicious!. nero belgian waffle bar has two different types of waffle to choose from: liege waffles, or brussels waffles. i had a brussels waffle without toppings and it was nice and light! i'm looking forward to visit this awesome place again!

divaseattoo: nero belgium waffle bar. they say pictures are worth a thousand words. how delicious these waffles look (in the photos uploaded), is exactly how delicious they taste. nero has very limited seating, so it might be a good idea to take your waffle to-go and eat it by the beach. usually mornings are not too jam-packed if you go very early. however it gets quite busy by 11am.

their coffee is delicious. and they have different "textures" of waffles you can choose from - a softer waffle and a more crunchy waffle. their selection of savory waffles is limited - when i went, there was only 2 savories. so if you are more of a fan of sweets, then there is definitely more selection for you.

whether you are in the mood for dessert after your ramen fix or looking for brunch worthy waffles, nero belgian waffle bar is the place for you.  this waffle place in the west end is small in size but big in terms of popularity among locals and tourists.  nero belgian waffle bar serves authentic belgian waffles in two varieties, brussels and liege, and has options for savoury and sweet toppings.

it was ok..had the "heaven" waffle with strawberries and whip cream on top. i wasn't really that impressed. i expected it to have some drizzle on top or some sort of glaze/sauce served with it. especially for the price, $7.95 plus tax...it's quite pricey in my opinion.

but fortunately for me, i can afford a plane ticket to vancouver and eat at a place that serves belgian waffles just like in belgium, possibly even better.
