overpriced. just like everybody else says in the comments below it's overpriced. $7 or so for a liege with almonds and dark chocolate. it did taste good but nothing outstanding. it's alright...ehhhh...

very good!. i was very impressed with the liege waffles, the prices are not too high, and the portion sizes are good. can't wait until they bring a white chocolate pistachio sauce! :)

the service was excellent, they were extremely friendly. will definately be back

i had been eyeing this place for a while - the last time i'd made plans with friends, turned out they wouldn't have been able to accommodate all of us. in general, nero's is always busy on weekend mornings, and there's almost always a wait, even to seat just two people. it's a great place, but also, it's extremely tiny. and then they have a policy that they won't put you on the waitlist unless all members of your party have arrived. so, getting there earlier than your friends won't get you in any faster.

they have two basic types of waffles, liege and brussels and then you can choose your toppings. i looove liege waffles, and i chose the mocha toppings to go with it. my friend chose banella with brussels. we both really liked what we got, and it's pretty well priced too.

hit the spot!. really nice place run by a young couple. i had a belgian waffle--light, crisp, and especially good with belgian dark chocolate.

shoulda topped it with cream too.

their coffee is delicious. and they have different "textures" of waffles you can choose from - a softer waffle and a more crunchy waffle. their selection of savory waffles is limited - when i went, there was only 2 savories. so if you are more of a fan of sweets, then there is definitely more selection for you.

on my last visit to vancouver, i just had to try out this waffle place and goodness it was the best tasting waffles i ever had. the texture and everything about it was heavenly. the waffles are a bit pricy but you have to treat yourself every so often! the place is small but also cozy. the people who work there are also friendly and my friends and i really enjoyed it. our first experience at this place and it was far from disappointing. definitely have to come back when im in town again and i highly recommend this place:)

great place. would definitely come back to eat. the waffles taste great, service is great. i ate here around dinner time and the place was pretty busy as all of the tables were occupied.

nero’s waffles are quite good but it’s a bit pricey (works out to be close to $10 each after tax) given its downtown location. now that the weather has gotten nicer and days are longer i’m sure more people would be out later – while they’re good, i don’t know if i would wait much longer for them. i suppose you could order take out, but it wouldn’t taste the same.

tried their mocha and all things chocolate on their belgian waffles- something i still crave for every other day. tiny little find, very warm staff, very affordable & very good waffles. what more could you want?

really nice waffles! they are really well priced and you definitely get your money’s worth in terms of waffles. definitely would try if you have a sweet tooth!

i was very excited when i heard from my friends and relatives that they have good desserts here. it did not disappoint. we got the brussels waffle you should try the leige waffle everyone said it's better

i came here six years ago before it was all the rave on instagram and other social media platforms. this place is very cute and cozy and great if you loved waffles. their waffles are made fresh infront of your eyes and there are many different ways to decorate it. with nutella, strawberries, bananas, etc. and it's extremely well made and always tasty.

they have good flavors and the waffle texture is just right! i like how they have savory options as well as sweet. it’s also a good portion!

decent place for waffles but not the best in our opinion - nothing special. waffles taste average.

in terms of the actual location - difficult to get a seat inside and it can get really cramped. it is the type of place that you go to to get a waffle, not for the atmosphere.
