nothing fancy about this restaurant when it comes to decor but it doesn’t really need it as it just deliversgreatfood backed by good friendly service . had the specials but going back to try that burger .

this was our first time and we will be back. the bartender wasgreatwhile we waited for our table. the restaurant is somewhat laud back and the atmosphere is great. the food and service were first class. the appetizers and seafood were awesome. highly recommend.

what agreatevening w/ friends! we started out w/ meatballs & asparagus, which were both yummy. for dinner we had the lemon sole, fried chicken, and steak special ~ all were absolutely fabulous. the sides we shared were brussels sprouts, sautéed spinach, and cream potatoes ~ would totally have them all again. dessert consisted of the chocolate lava cake & butterscotch pot de creme, which was the bomb!! oh my word, i won't be able to go back & not have that again! service & ambience were both great! our server, will, was fantastic!!

one of my weekly spots. the steak frites are out of this world and the voodoo peppercorn sauce takes the dish to the next level. also, pretty much every cocktail isgreatand the service is amazing.

neighborhood services is chef nick badovinus’ first solo effort since arriving on the dallas restaurant scene in 1996. this neighborhood restaurant serving the north dallas neighborhoods surrounding the lovers lane and inwood road intersection has generatedgreatbuzz and has quickly become one of the top destinations in the dallas fort worth dining scene. the menu is an interesting balance of offerings i’ll call new american comfort food. there are roughly a dozen appetizers ranging from light and fresh to heavier and savory to suit any palate. entrees seem centered on the premium, hand selected steaks but there are daily specials, daily seafood offerings in addition to standard menu offerings of chicken, pork, etc… there is even a daily hand made pasta offering as well as flatbreads. in short, there is something for everybody at neighborhood services.

super tasty -greatlobster rolls!. the fried asparagus was also fabulous. these guys don't miss a beat. it's crowded, so have reservations and know that you may still have a bit of a wait... it's going to be worth it!

everything wasgreatbut.... on busy nights they could use extra bartenders and perhaps one or two staff members to assist waiters with bar orders. our waitress had zero extra time to be concerned with bar orders. i think almost everyone at our table of 10 would have ordered at least 1 extra drink if it didn't take the bar 15 minutes to fill our order.

other than that, the food was fresh, tasty and expertly prepared. our waitress did an incredible job with our table and i saw her busily delivering food to her other tables. i had the scallops which i think were the best i have ever had. i also had the steak tartare which tasted wonderful but i could have used a little heat - red pepper or sriracha.
i was too full to make it to dessert but someone at the table let me have a bite of theirs and it was unbelivably good.

i will return.

specials rotate daily with fresh seafood flown in or a specialty meat of the chefs choice. whether patrons choose the regular menu or the daily special all options lead togreatfood!

bazaar but wonderful experience. this place is strange (in a good way) but hard to describe. first of all, it's very hard to find, even when you know where it is because the sign is small and the facade is very unassuming. second, the waitstaff are not just waiters, our waiter was the owner of the popular restaurant the porch. he madegreatrecommendations for food and alcohol. the decor is classy and elegant but not stuffy. we had the wedge salad, fried asparagus, sea-bass, creme de pot, and fried pie. all were great.

delicious. it was so good!!! loved the ambiance as well.greatfor a date/double date night! definitely finish it off with the fried pie! it is easy to miss on the street, so look for a rug place and a valet! we all loved it!

chicken pot pie on thursdays best in dallas! nick has the knack forgreatfood!

oh so yummy!. very fun neighborhood bistro for dinner. food is hot, spiced nicely and consistently delicious. i concur with d magazine that is is one of the best restaurants in dallas. it is nice to see d rate this restaurant so highly when it is not one of the chi chi expensive posh and pretentious restaurants hats off to d magazine for picking a really good restaurant as its top choice for good food. i hear that this restaurant is expanding into different neighborhoods. my fear is that chains may ruin its quality, but lets wait and see. for now,greatplace for a family dinner.
