dismissing the negative reviews we visited this place for sunday lunch. 25-30 people waiting at around 1:30pm. we luckily got a table in 10-15mins. they are thoughtful enough to maintain an ac waiting room with proper seating arrangement.

moving on to the food, i ordered mutton biriyani.
portion - normal appetite serves 2
taste - delicious
mutton - 2 pieces of melting in the mouth mutton

reason i m giving 4star. we ordered chillichickenstarter. the waiter knew it well but still gave it gravy and refused to accept the mistake on his part.

still serving best andhra biriyani in bangalore! will visit again to trychickenghee roast ☺️

meals are good, don’t orderchickenside dishes. for 400 bucks they will give you bones!! if you call manager to complain. an old person will come staying can’t do much!!

very crowded for saturday lunch. waited for 39 minutes to get a seat for 2. however, the wait was worthwhile. ordered one thali, 1chickenbiryani andchickenfry. all items were served quickly and the quality and quantity were very good. it stood up to the true andhra pride.

i've always loved nagarjuna and their andhra bojanam. the taste is still the same however food quality seems to have reduced a bit. chillichickenis a must try. nothing beats that.

yesterday we takeaway a food.its my 1st experience with mg road branch nagarjuna.chicken briyani pieces are completely undercooked then mutton briyani pieces are overcooked.i can't swallow that piece very chewable.it is not recommended for kids.nagarjunachickengravy its k.i am really disappointed.waste of money.briyani rice flavor was awesome thats y i gave 2 star.usally i went to bannerghata road nagarjuna branch they are too good.management pls dont feed people like this.

nati kodi fry was such a disappointment. thechickenpieces were having tiny bones and thechickenfelt like it was preserved for almost a week or two. there was no taste nor any essence ofchickenfeel in the dish.
never expected dishes from nagarjuna would be of such low quality and taste. on top of this almost waited for an hour for the delivery.🥵

nagarjuna has stood the test of time - the food tastes exactly the same today as it did the first time i ate here 20 years ago. i have faith that it will be excellent 20 years later as well.
the biryani, mutton pepper fry andchicken65 are classics and we always order these. the mutton especially is so tender and the gravy is absolutely amazing. special mention to the meals as well - the pappu is so so good.
the food is andhra and extremely spicy, so not for the faint hearted at all. the chillichickenis almost ridiculously spicy and something that we can’t eat anymore as we’ve grown older :d
nagarjuna is a bangalore classic!

nagarjuna a prefect place to satisfy andhra style food
we tried theirchickenbiryani which was pretty flavorful and tasty, we tried they fish fry
the fish was nicely fried and pretty fresh masala was nicely coated to fish and taste was awesome
food here is served in banana leaf which give homely feel and staff here very friendly and polite

our andhra-style food adobe is the nagarjuna hotel.
bangalore has a wide variety of branches. the one on residency road serves us.

authentic andhra cuisine will be found at this restaurant.chickenbiryani,chickensholay kabab, and andhra style chillichickenare my favorites. mutton kheema balls and gunturchickenare also favorites of my family.

there is a possibility to wait 20 minutes for a table if you go during busy lunch hours. but the food service is pretty quick.
it's not a pricey restaurant and also good value for the money. the atmosphere is modest, but the cuisine is the star here.

they had ample of seating space when we arrived but the place got full soon. the food was very good and the staff was courteous. its just simple food done quite well. the prices are quite okay. we tried the mutton meatballs which was quite delicious. we also had the nattikodi chicken, the gunturchickenand roti which was huge. the meals available here are great as well.

been to nagarjuna's a couple of times on residency road. always returned content after a hearty andhra meal!

on my latest visit, had the regular mutton biryani. was quite tasty, not spicy, portion size was just right for one person. mutton pieces were well cooked. for starters we hadchickensixer and andhrachicken65, both were absolutely amazing. loved them,chicken65 was on the spicier side, which was great. a fresh lime soda to wash down the goodness was a good way to round off the meal. have also had the veg andhra meals here earlier, delectable as expected.

service is really quick, even on crowded weekends. staff is courteous. did get crowded last weekend, which is something the restaurant should look to address. otherwise, all good, a great place for authentic andhra cuisine.

one of the best places to eat andhra style food. almost everything is good however their thali along with chillichickenand sometimeschickenbiryani is what we end up ordering frequently. taste in really good however pricing is on a higher side considering the fact in this thali only has rice the famous dal , rasam and a few random veggies... still tasty homely kind of food. i really love theirchickenbiryani, filled with subtle aromas of whole spices, subtle non spicy non greasy taste. quantity of any biryani is extremely less considering the price you pay, not sufficient for one person as well unless you are dieting.
