dismissing the negative reviews we visited this place for sunday lunch. 25-30 people waiting at around 1:30pm. we luckily got a table in 10-15mins. they are thoughtful enough to maintain an ac waiting room with proper seating arrangement.

moving on to the food, i ordered mutton biriyani.
portion - normal appetite serves 2
taste - delicious
mutton - 2 pieces of melting in the mouth mutton

reason i m giving 4star. we ordered chilli chicken starter. the waiter knew it well but still gave it gravy and refused to accept the mistake on his part.

still serving bestandhrabiriyani in bangalore! will visit again to try chicken ghee roast ☺️

very crowded for saturday lunch. waited for 39 minutes to get a seat for 2. however, the wait was worthwhile. ordered one thali, 1 chicken biryani and chicken fry. all items were served quickly and the quality and quantity were very good. it stood up to the trueandhrapride.

the place was super crowded on friday at 1:45 pm but i managed to get a table in 10 mins. i ordered theandhrabhojanam (meal) but it was too spicy for me. i found it tasty but the service was shabby: waiter kicked a dirty napkin below my seat rather than picking it up, they got half my thali and i kept waiting for the sambhar, curd, rasam, paapad. asked them for a spoon thrice before someone got one. i would not return. the food was tasty but nothing to write home about.

i've always loved nagarjuna and theirandhrabojanam. the taste is still the same however food quality seems to have reduced a bit. chilli chicken is a must try. nothing beats that.

nagarjuna! no longer stands for its taste in the food.
the serving staff is not serving the food properly. the staff spliced rice on to us while serving.
taste of the food is it up to the mark. they are not authenticandhrastyle. very very bad on the taste.
the ghee they serve is not the pure ghee. it’s dalda mixed. this is not a place to try the correctandhrastyle food for sure. worst experiences ever.
the seating was very congested. there is no place for us to keep a glass on the table. the space between the table and sofa where we sit is very less.
if they expect only tiny humans then it will work.
not worth the wait time and not worth the spent.
there are very limited items in veg thali.
am not going back nor will recommend nagarjuna!!

nagarjuna has stood the test of time - the food tastes exactly the same today as it did the first time i ate here 20 years ago. i have faith that it will be excellent 20 years later as well.
the biryani, mutton pepper fry and chicken 65 are classics and we always order these. the mutton especially is so tender and the gravy is absolutely amazing. special mention to the meals as well - the pappu is so so good.
the food isandhraand extremely spicy, so not for the faint hearted at all. the chilli chicken is almost ridiculously spicy and something that we can’t eat anymore as we’ve grown older :d

nagarjuna a prefect place to satisfyandhrastyle food
we tried their chicken biryani which was pretty flavorful and tasty, we tried they fish fry
the fish was nicely fried and pretty fresh masala was nicely coated to fish and taste was awesome
food here is served in banana leaf which give homely feel and staff here very friendly and polite

our andhra-style food adobe is the nagarjuna hotel.
bangalore has a wide variety of branches. the one on residency road serves us.

authenticandhracuisine will be found at this restaurant. chicken biryani, chicken sholay kabab, and andhra style chilli chicken are my favorites. mutton kheema balls and guntur chicken are also favorites of my family.

there is a possibility to wait 20 minutes for a table if you go during busy lunch hours. but the food service is pretty quick.
it's not a pricey restaurant and also good value for the money. the atmosphere is modest, but the cuisine is the star here.

it has always been my go-to-place for typicalandhrastyle meals and spicy food. it is just the place where quality meets perfection. i love their prawn kebab, mutton biryani andandhrastyle meals.

visited residency road nagarjuna restaurant today. just orderedandhrameals and nagarjuna chicken( semi dry). meals was pretty average and the worst bit is the nagarjuna chicken. it was too salty and tasteless. on informing supervisor, his reaction was ' had you told me before tasting two pieces i would have done something'. such poor customer service

had a wonderful experience! theandhrameal was delicious and sumptuous. the mutton pepper fry was great. if you’re visiting nagarjuna , look out for muruggan who is extremely helpful and gave us great service.

this place has been very popular in the city as well as outside. heard quite a few celebrities mentioning this place.

their veg meals are a must try. whatta spread❤️

i love the whole experience of having anandhrameal on a banana leaf! so simplistic and authentic!
the combination of podi with ghee and rice is truly irresistible!

also loved their mutton biryani and guntur chicken.

this is a regular joint we visit whenever we feel like eating some scrumptiousandhrafood. everything is right about this place. suggest to try the meals and biryani.

been to nagarjuna's a couple of times on residency road. always returned content after a heartyandhrameal!

on my latest visit, had the regular mutton biryani. was quite tasty, not spicy, portion size was just right for one person. mutton pieces were well cooked. for starters we had chicken sixer andandhrachicken 65, both were absolutely amazing. loved them, chicken 65 was on the spicier side, which was great. a fresh lime soda to wash down the goodness was a good way to round off the meal. have also had the vegandhrameals here earlier, delectable as expected.

service is really quick, even on crowded weekends. staff is courteous. did get crowded last weekend, which is something the restaurant should look to address. otherwise, all good, a great place for authenticandhracuisine.
