nagameez....yes the name is enough to tell its features. located in silpukhuri with beautiful interiors. the food quality is superb. though the rate is comparatively higher but value for money. they should add akhuni chutney too innagathali.

been here couple of times whenever i am in guwahati.
awsome food...great ambience....the smell of bamboo shoot just when you enter the resturant gives you a hint of the awsomeness to be served on your plate.
if you want to try  authenticnagafood, this is the place to be.
caution:- expect the food to be hot...i mean really hot.

naga kitchen was a recommendation from assameese friends to taste it. this restaurant is just usual ambiance. menu had some images ofnagaculture which drew my attention. we ordered for chicken dumplings, rice, smoked pork innagacurry and one special chutney made of small dried fishes. overall dumplings were fanstastic, curry was really tasty and pork was evenly cooked. i might prefer a more deep cooking of the meat compared to what i tasted there.
didn't have any cherishable memories to carry forward. seems one time try for me.

had wonderful dried pork here, i must say it should be the best one i've ever had in guwahati. the ambiance is decent and formal. service is good and staff is hostile. overall experience was above expected level. one should surely try it if you want to bade your share innagafood

awesome food and ambience. i had ordered non vegnagathali which was great and even the momos tasted awesome, however price is on the higher side. that is definitely an area of concern. further the placement of the washroom is also unhygienic as you could smell the stink.

if at all, you like to explorenagacuisine, nagameez is the one to try out. their chicken fried rice and the succulent pork gravy is a must try.

starting with a piquant tamarind juice...moderate taste....following that...vegnagathali enriched with differentnagapickle , dry fishnagadal boiled veggie , and above all thenagapork curry with lai xaak(seasonal).a perfectly maintained ,scented meals for us...service is prompt , behaviour is moderate,intramural srtucture is in vogue..

bestnagadish ever i love it

food was great. i tried the non veg thali nd loved it. thenagadal was simple and amzaing. the dry fish chutney was just like a flavour bomb in my mouth.

good ambience and hospitality..an ideal place for having ethnicnagafood. should try thali....rates with quantity and quality is quite reasonable

items not received according to the item description. no roasted pork, nonagadal, no bamboo shoot. never had such a bad experience with nagamese. earlier i used to go physically & eat. today i couldn't eat the pork as it was not cooked properly (probably this time, hope so) . pork pieces were too hard. not worthy enough to spend 300 rupees for this.. no from my end, never again.. 🤘

this is my absolute favorite restaurant in guwahati for ethnic food.the food is always fantastic and no matter what i order i am always delighted with my meal! servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. owners are very attentive.can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in .nagathalis and chicken dry fry are my favorites

i went there for dinner. the ambience is very soothing. dimly lit and smells of bamboo shoot. big glass windows overlooking the main road. also, there's a see-through glass of the kitchen and you notice pans and woks catching fire and it warms your heart.

only went there to try out pork. we ordered a veg thali, some plain rice, pork with sesame (gravy), roasted pork fry. now the veg thali consisted of rice,nagadal, boiled mix veggies and various chutneys. among the chutneys, the dry fish chutney stole my heart. it was really hot and i couldn't help myself from ordering it twice. the boiled veggies made me feel healthy and nutritious. the pork was aah!! the roasted one was finger licking and spicy and so yummy. the sesame one was okayish. could be better. the gravy was watery and the pork pieces were overcooked and went dry.

the portion sizes were good according to price. the bill is another story. they charged us ₹70 higher than what the bill was supposed to be. on looking the bill carefully, we saw that the prices of the items were increased to ₹20-₹30 in every dish. on confronting, they said it was a technical glitch!! really? that was a complete let down. if we wouldn't have gone through the bill, we would have paid extra from almost nothing. please look into this matter.

pure ethnic food and variety are the main assets of nagameez. they serve you the best assamese andnagathalis along with special side dishes. also every day there is a special chicken, fish and pork dish for their customers. we ordered one vegnagathali, two assamese veg thali, one smoked fish with dry bamboo shoot,chicken with banana flower, fish khorika and thekera juice. the taste is really amazing. just loved it. only one review i would like to give them is the maintenance. the hotel is maintained very poorly. i hope they give more importance to this too. otherwise it's a 4.5
