mynt indian cuisine

after reading so much about this place had went for lunch over there with colleague. ambience is good not that of a typical indian restaurant. had jhinga biryani and mutton biryani. they serve lucknowi style biryani..not upto mark.so if you are a fan of hyderabi biryani plz give it a miss. staff was very polite n friendly. however it took almost 20 mins for order of 2 biryani during lunch that too when there were hardly other ppl. so plz try to improve serving time. regards :)

lovely ambiance, friendly staff, food is excellent for indian taste buds, westerners need to request a lesser spicy version of the dish. place is small with limited seating, booking your table in advance is a wise decision on weekends. their in house mint chutney is amazing and it’s unlimited 😋

well, we chose mynt as it was already late and being next door it was the most convenient option. but this indian cuisine restaurant for sure would be definitely on my list to revisit.

ambience - the place is clean, cozy and warm. the interiors and decor is fresh and very well done, gives very peaceful and soothing feeling.

staff and service - mynt scores the most in hospitality. extremely friendly, pleasing, well behaved and professional staff. the guy serving us was very polite, helpful and attentive. service by far was the quickest we have experienced.

food - being a vegetarian we tried mynt special veg starter (broccoli, paneer tikka, cauliflower and desi samosa - mushroom was replaced with paneer tikka on our request) which was nicely cooked and was flavourful. we ordered tandori rotis and makhmali paneer do pyaaza in main course which had the right blend of spices though a little spicy. the drinks and the complimentary palate cleanser were quite refreshing and yummy too.

overall a great experience. quality and quantity both are good. little expensive but our zomato gold averaged it out. mynt deserves the great reviews and praises it receives. definitely recommended 👍🏻

i love this restaurant for their mutton biryani!! their staff is very good and helpful! i have enjoyed every dish i have tasted here especially butter chicken and mutton biryani!!
cost could be little expensive but the quantity and quality makes up for it.

after reading great reviews about this restaurant, i went here for dinner. we ordered mutton/gosht khada masala curry + roti’s and mutton/gosht dum biryani.

the dum biryani is not the hyderbadi style where large quantity of briyani is cooked in a big deg/pot. their biryani is just mutton curry+biryani rice sealed in a single serve pot and baked.

i am a vegetarian, i have tried couple of dishes and they are good but i would recommend every veggie lovers to try once “mynt special”, it’s a starter (broccoli, paneer tikka, tandoori mushroom, cauliflower & a desi samosa) perfectly cooked with right amount of masala’s and spices. i just liked everything about this restaurant, starting from the ambience to the well behaved & professional staff, everything falls into the place.

with all the raving reviews about this restaurant, i went there for lunch one afternoon with high expectations and was a little disappointed. however, lets start off on the positives! absolutely loved the decor and the courtesy of the staff. their attention to detail and finesse is truly visible all around the restaurant. 

now onto the food, for starters we had the chef special platter, murgh malai tikka and the mynt special. the chef special platter is a non vegetarian mixed grill platter consisting of jumbo prawns, fish tikka, chicken tikka, lamb skewers and lamb-chops. the first disappointment is the quantity, not really worth the price. the prawns were overcooked and the lamb chops felt like rubber. the chicken and the fish were nice. the murgh malai tikka was also quite nice however, i like my kebabs nice and tender, none of the kebabs over here seemed to be that way. the mynt special platter was a mixed vegetarian grill platter which was a hit at the table. everyone was raving about the samosas!

for the main course we ordered a chicken kolhapuri, paneer tikka masala and naan. nothing really impressed me in this course and the chicken kolhapuri was a big let down. the coconut flavor was so intense that it overpowered the whole dish! if you love coconut milk, this dish is for you.

for dessert we ordered the malai kulfi and the rasmalai. this course fared better than its predecessors.

for drinks we had the watermelon basil mock-tail and the cinderella mock-tail. the former was a big disappointment and the latter tasted amazing!

in a nutshell, the food was disappointing and definitely not worth the price, don't think i 'd head back there anytime soon.

excellent staff, hospitality & ambience. the food was very tasty. overall it was a wondeful experiance and a must visit place for all food lovers.

good ambience. awesome food, traditional recipes with a difference. very pleasing and friendly staff, service oriented, even when we were one of the last customers of the day (rather...night)!. will definitely come back.

we tried mynt with my husband last week and we were amazed by the service! the nepalese lady serving us was very polite, smart and attentive! the restaurant is cosy with modern decoration and the food is pretty good as well! quite authentic. we would definitely go back!

i went to mynt because of many positive feedback i read about this place and it stands to its reputation 😃
the place is decent to sit in and have a good dining experience cozy and welcoming.
service was excellent and managers came more than once to check if we are enjoying the experience and noticed they do that all around.
now for the food it was exceptional! tasty fresh and you can taste the quality! and it is good value for money.
we had vegetable pakora ( deep fried veg) it was good and i like how tasty the paneer was. then for main we had shrimps in coconut and spices, amazing presentation but i think if we ordered it spicy the overall taste would be more concentrated- not to self for next time- and we ordered butter chicken and asked for it spicy and it was delicious! we only ordered garlic naan oily but very soft and tasty. the quantities are generous and definitely going back to try more dishes soon.

i won’t call it exactly pocket friendly because of the enormous competition it has. but it truly has the yummiest food! we had the butter chicken and mutton biryani and it was a match made in heaven. you can use your gold. the staff is super polite too

visited this place on reading reviews on net. but was not satisfied with the food. service was good as well as the staff was polite. but food not happy

the place gives you good vibe. the staff is very courteous and attentive. food needless to say is just perfect and considering the menu pricing they are doing a fabulous job. the best part about my experience is the balance of flavors, nothing empowering the other. mulligatawny was a stunner. prawn poppers, chatpata channa, broccoli & cauliflower florets and chicken gunpowder was fresh and most importantly served at the right temperature. i probably ate the finest quality of rasmalai here. thank you team for this wonderful experience.
