well...some people love this place...i honestly do not so much. firstly...theplaceis so lit up it feels like you are caught in headlights and takes away any ambiance. secondly and importantly the food is more for show than actual taste. big burgers but nothing special...milkshakes topped with crazy things...all very nice but not cheap and not really that tasty. i like the decor being american diner and the service was good...friendly waiter and staff. i don't like writing negative reviews but just not to my taste. try it and decide.

not really family friendly with the kind of people that hangs out here. i would not recommend thisplaceif you are looking for a nice time with someone without being offended

at last we got to experience mustang sally's and we were not disappointed. greatplacefor family with outrageous portions. you have to go hungry.

thisplacehas such a fun vibe and the mac and cheese balls are out of this world. all in all we had a pleasant experience except for having to wait for our food for about an hour, even though it honestly wasn’t very busy.

if your looking for large everything this is definitely theplacefor you!

as you walk in you are taken back to all those american movies with the diners, i half expected a waiter to rollerblade pass me.

ordered a banana milkshake and it was amazing, topped with ice cream, sprinkles, sweeties all the bells and whistles imaginable! for mains we ordered the eisbein, again big! cooked really well.

a unique restaurant, food was average, portions are generous, waiters are friendly, over all a fairly good vibe!

the first time you go eat here, you seemed amazed by everything. big cocktails, large food portions and amazing gourmet milkshakes. go there again and you realize that the food is not actually so great. their burgers seem huge but the patty is hidden away by a bun that is twice as big. the rest of their menu is okay, not great. food is average and service okay. what i don’t like is the fact that while waiting on a waiting list, management tends to sit outside at a table smoking. instead of walking around making sure that their patrons are enjoying themselves. kids seem to love thisplacebecause of their amazing shakes. this i must admit is the biggest stand out to me. i would say try it out once and make your own opinion. been there three times and i would say it is just average.

mustang sally's gets packed very quickly as soon as their doors open. the decor has that 1950's american rock and roll vibe and it compliments the menu.

having been to similarly themed diners before, i have to say : the cocktails and milkshakes are something else entirely! the food is fantastic, and the portions are huge. thisplacelooks, feels and tastes authentic american.

wow!!! what a place. the food is awesome the waiters are friendly and know their products. the ambience of theplacereminds one of a typical american diner. the hostess is friendly. the only down point is that the music is sometimes a little loud and you can’t hear each other. apart from that hands down the best burger joint. i would gladly make the trip from bedfordview to pretoria. for the hungry ones try their 1kg t-bone and 2lt beer

had a good evening out, enjoyable as an experience, however patties on burgers tasted pre cooked and were hard, so i would give the food an average, the milkshakes are great, and it’s a greatplaceto pop in and have some pub grub, in an interesting environment.

the people working there are really friendly which is the only good thing i can say about the place. we decided to quickly pop in so we could try their famous milkshakes but we were really disappointed. the milkshake itself tasted like a mcdonald's milkshake has more flavour. my other problem with theplaceis also the bookings while sitting inside i saw multiple booths open but people had to wait outside for a table to open up because the booths were reserved. the decor could be described as a diner vibe and then it gets ruined by the huge fans throughout the place. personally if we had to wait for a table we would rather have gone somewhere else.

if you are into big food this is theplacefor you.
the service is good. the atmosphere is lively.
make sure you go early or book ahead they get very busy.
there milkshakes are very delicious and big.

the food was really good and filling. naughty milkshakes are a must have. service leaves a lot to be desired. theplaceis usually very busy, but that does not excuse poor service. would rather get take aways than dine in.

thisplacewas too amazing for words. we had to wait so book to avoid disappointment. the food was amazing and so was the vibe. the owners were even there to oversee everything and the service was great.

classic american diner with killer milkshakes. well advertised on the road, this restaurant grabs attention. fun and vibey with friendly waiters, this is theplaceto bring the family to. all gourmet milkshakes come in a fun coloured glass with a doughnut, ice cream and topping – there are also alcoholic milkshakes for the adults. in terms of food, plenty of finger food, burgers and ribs. the cocktails are huge – definitely for sharing on a girls night out. we tried the slider and corndog basket and the toasted marshmellow milkshake and death by chocolate (alcoholic milkshake). service is not particularly quick but it is not slow for the service you receive.
