ate at mussel inn on a weekend visit to glasgow jan 2011. lovely ambience and good service, inexpensive, only one thing spoilt it i chose the 18 mussels with 3 queen scollops in a red pepper and pesto sauce, the sauce tasted mainly of tomato, there was so much of it, it smothered the delicate taste of the mussels. i ended up eating half of my husbands dish which was delicious. shame because everything else we had was lovely.
