coffee was terrible...much to my dismay... the california omlet was decent enough, though. service wasn't the best. had to call the waiter every time we needed her.

i love their menu. my hubby and i are busy working our way through the menu. we still stuck at the breakfast menu because their big ben and macon and bean hash are so divine!! lol. keep up the awesome service and continue making fabulous food...

tried the big ben this time and man, was it huge! it was so so good but so filling. definitely not something that can be eaten alone

my fiancé and i were looking for a good place to enjoy lunch and had decided on mugg & bean. food was great, service a bit slow but overall a good experience. will def be visiting again :)

we were a table of about 13 people having lunch on thursday 28 june 2018 - chk number on our receipt is 8794. firstly, we were told our reservation was not in the book (bearing in mind i was told if we are more than 10 minutes late, we will lose our reservation). i had to ask 3 times to get jugs of water and enough glasses for everyone; one of the glasses was visibly greasy; the rooibos chai latte ordered was cold (we saw it standing on the counter for ages before it was brought to the table); the medium-rare steak i ordered was so overdone i couldn't cut it (partly because i was given a butter knife not a steak knife), and the baby potatoes were so chewy they were either cooked in old oil, or they were leftovers from yesterday; some orders were wrong; the toast that accompanies the breakfast orders arrived as they were finishing our meals.

we would have had dessert as we normally do on our team lunches, but we couldn't wait to leave.

the restaurant was not particularly busy as there were many open tables and there seemed to be enough waitrons for everyone, it just seemed that the staff had no clue how to manage our needs.

we often take our teams out for lunches, and this is one restaurant we will most certainly not be frequenting.

best fully halaal breakfast you can find. their omlettes are the best. service also very good. wide variety of things to order for any meal of the day.

the service was friendly but i had to repeat the order 3 times to the waiter who was busy writing the simple order down. at least she was friendly.
what i’m not impressed about, is the prices for what you get. so this is a on the go m&b but why is they prices the same, but you don’t get chips with your sandwich? we had to pay extra. there’s also just 4 tables outside with not enough chairs, which is inconvenient.

love love love their menu! i’m always ordering omelette and a cappuccino! extremely affordable and enjoyable! excellent service and excellent food

the outlet was very full but we we only waited 10 min to be seated.
obviously i chose the signature breakfast of all time, eggs benedict with salmon & hollandaise sauce. it was nice but for some reason the portion looked small on the plate but was extremely filling. their bottomless coffee mugs are so huge that you wouldn’t want a refill, best to just go for a normal latte or cappuccino as it’s the same price. plus side to this outlet is that it’s fully halaal.

what a very sloppy service we received. my sister asked for emphasized that she wants well done eggs but got runny eggs. i asked for water with no ice , got water with ice. i then asked her to get me without ice since i can't take cold water, then she brought warm water. i think she was really having a bad day.

the food was also very average. i didn't expect avo paste either. i do however like the location of the restaurant. i usually go there for lunch which i think they do better than breakfast.

the mugg 'n bean here is friendly . i"d ordered a chicken and mushroom pot pie and it was hot and it was delicious  and my mom enjoyed her sandwich. the waiters were friendly and the service was efficient.

mugg & bean for dinner tonight! i've walked past this branch so many times and tried it out today out of curiosity. unfortunately, experience was pretty average.

when we arrived we were greeted immediately and seated at a table with some comfy seats in the middle of the restaurant. i liked the modern interior and thought the tables were spaced a good distance away from each other.

the menu is fully halal and boasts a variety of meals. the lunch and dinner menu contains anything from healthy salads in jars to mexican inspired nachos to classic cafe sandwiches and wraps and even hearty meals like soups and pies. my sister and i both had a cheese and steak hoagie which was basically an open sandwich. it was filled generously and the tiny mushrooms were a nice addition... however, the bbq sauce wasn't up to my taste as it was strangely sweet and the steak was chewy. my mom opted for a meatball and pesto hoagie. the meatballs were a winner - tasty, juicy and drenched in a rich tomato sauce. the portion was really big and the bread, filling accompanied by the side of very lovely rosemary salted chips was just too much. my dad went for a vegetarian toasted sandwich with basil pesto, sundried tomatoes, spinach and mozzarella which he enjoyed. the flat white coffees (good old origin blend!) were good. however, the hot chocolate was disappointing.

i have had bad experiences at other m&b branches and waited extremely long for food so timed our order this evening. our drinks arrived 2 minutes after we ordered (speedy!) and the food arrived 15 minutes after that. 17 minute wait. not bad considering it was a saturday evening and i have waited more than double that at other branches but the place also wasn't busy tonight. our waiter, leaveille, was quiet but polite and efficient.

so the food wasn't bad but not great either and the experience was average overall. it hasn't restored my faith in the franchise either.

breakfast with my parents at mugg & bean this morning and we had another great experience.

we had their eggs benedict, croissant and on the go breakfast and then topped it off with some blueberry flapjacks. it was my first time trying their eggs benedict and it did not disappoint at all! the croissant was buttery and light always. their on the go breakfast is the perfect meal for one who doesn't want to eat too much, and then the flapjacks was simply just ah-maz-ing!

with such good food, fast and friendly service it's no secret as to why i keep returning.

this is the second occasion that i am visiting this branch. the first time i created my own omelet and my partner had the all american breakfast. both breakfasts and the coffees were wonderful. today a friend and i decided to have lunch here as their menu is really appealing. i enjoyed the sesame crusted buttermilk chicken burger and my friend enjoyed the jalapeño stuffed burger (forgot what it was called). burgers were amazing. some restaurants skimp quality over quantity however m&g offers both equally.

great service and awesum food, place was clean and tidy, staff was very friendly, great wat ave a chilled sunday afternoon, will deff b gng agn! :-)
