taste great to me!!!!. don't know how/why someone would write about service at a jamaican restaurant. if you want curbside to go, and don't want to wait in line for your food ya know who to call. this is a place that knows who they are and what they do. they are not aspiring to be 50 locations. they know they serve good food and they don't take phone orders because too many order and don't show up. this is a 2-star place with 4-star taste. think quality carryout probably 1st generation siblings, not fine restaurant (though they do have seats). frankly i love jamaican food.muffinman is the best in dc. it's not as well known as negril or tropicana because they are one location, but the food is the best. i love the jerk chicken. can't go wrong with any of the muffins though the carrot cake is exceptional. all the food is good. my family and i have been pleased with every thing from the fish to ox tails.
