mt. fuji steak & asian fusion

love it. i went to mt fuji for the first time about 2 months ago, i have been back several times a week ever since! i love the food, the service, the people are very kind and caring and they remember you and make you feel welcome. the half price sushi days and all you can eat days are awesome, so much food for a great price. everything is natural and super good for you! i am very sensitive to msg.. so i asked them about it, they don't use any, and they were very accommodating. i will be coming back for a long time.

skip it. went for the $20 all you can eat sushi. it took about 45 minutes to get our first order which was mediocre at best. did not want to wait longer for a second order. our hot food went to another table so we waited even longer. did not get an apology. will not go back.

$20 all you can eat hibachi, appetizers,sushi etc... on sunday's. food taste awesome and are server was friendly and very attentive. i plan on coming back every sunday for the rest of my life.

fun time. the all you can eat deal is great--the selections are good and give a really good value for the money. our service staff was very attentive. we used two of the chefs as we had a whole room to ourselves with 15 people. the sushi was included in this price. the adults and kids in the group really enjoyed everything--it made for a fun evening. we can't wait to go again.

we had not been here in a while because of the service but tonight we had the absolute best waitress. her name is jennifer. she provided a very intriguing evening. she knew the menu, was prompt, and her suggestions were dead on! i highly recommend that you ask for jennifer on your next visit!!!

mt. fuji service sucks!!!!. i brought in a group of 15 couples with and average charge of at least $100. the service was horrible but it was not the poor waitress that was given the entire habachi section.
i was one of the first customers that they served when they first opened up and i spoke to the owner and his wife that they needed to do something about hiring enough people and the right people.
i decided to try them again due to the fact that they are close to lantana....i will never do this again!!!!
the food is ok...asahi in flower mound is much better!!! i met a customer of mine that was there with his wife and they sitting at the bar...had thier first order of sushi and then the waitress comes over and tells them that is going to be another 15 minutes before they get thier second order.
be warned...go there for the ambiance but do not go there for the service or food!!!!!!!!!! i give this place 6 months!!!!

hosed on valentine's. we made reservations which they gave away before we got there. they told us it would take ten minutes for a new seat but it took 45 minutes. once sat the reason we choose this place was it's deal on tuesday's and how close it was. the waitress failed to let us know prior that their half off sushi on tuesday wasn't valid even though it was still on the sign as well as the menu. in the end they didn't valid their offer and charged us full price on everything. if they are going to not have their tuesday deal they should let you know ahead of time and not have it plastered everywhere.

besides that the food is pretty good as well as the atmosphere. i am up in the air on going again after they took my money, make your own decision, but i dislike dishonesty.

this restaurant treats customers poorly.. my teenage son and his friend wanted to go to mt. fuji so i took them. it was on a thursday night and the restaurant was serving all you can eat hibatchi for $20. since i had already eaten, i did not even look at the menu and ordered a side dish of grilled veggies while the boys ordered the all you can eat. when i received the check, i discovered that i had been charged $20 for the veggie side (the all you can eat price). when i asked the waiter to correct the bill, they told me that if one person orders all you can eat, that all in your party are charged for all you can eat and that it states that on the menu. i never looked at the menu and the waitress did not tell me that ordering a side of veggies would cost me the all you can eat price. so i requested that they just charge me the kid price of $10 since all i ate was a small side of veggies. i never ate anything off of any of the other plates- i literally had only 1 cup of grilled veggies. they refused. in addition, they had already added an 18% gratuity and the service was horrible. i will never ever return to this poorly run restaurant where they basically steal your hard earned money.

have been to this place many times. the food is good for the most part....not the best. the service has always been terrible, however. today was the last time i will go though. my wife and i went for lunch she wanted to order off the regular menu and i wanted to do their all you can eat sushi special. we were told that everyone at the table had to order from the same menu spoke to a manager who was very rude the waitress was rude as well. i have been an apologist for this place due to the food and drink specials however after the way we were treated today they will never see another dollar of mine.

absolutely terrible.. a friend and i went to dinner at mt. fuji this evening, and it was forgettable to say the least. the food was so/so, but that was nothing compared to the atrocious customer service i experienced. our waiter charged my card for another tables pricey tab, but told me that i wouldn't have any charges from it. not the case. i was charged $60 for a meal that i didn't have, on top of my already existing tab. when i went to confront the situation, i was met stubbornly by the staff and didn't receive even a simple apology. upon inquiring as to when a general manager would be available to speak with, i was told to call back in three days and was told he might not actually be there. a restaurant (that is freshly opened at that) which does not take customer complaints seriously, is not a restaurant that is worth going to. all in all, i have received better customer service from fast food restaurants. for your sake, do not waste your time.

like. i take my three year old in there all the time. he is very entertained by the chef's. i think good portion and tasty. prices are good but i have only been at lunchtime.

this was an sediment meal! two couples..drinks...appetizers...steak...sea bass...sushi....and desert...all for just under $100 per couple and tip included! everything tasted excellent and there will be return trips.

do not go here!. the sushi was the worst i've had - mushy and warm, almost like it had been sitting in a display case for quite some time. plus, i'm not a big ginger fan, and it was all wrapped in ginger paper. the hibachi food was cooked ok, but there was no flavor to any of it. service was incredibly slow and when we were served, things were wrong or forgotten. it's a shame because it's a great atmosphere. stick to asahi for good hibachi in flower mound.

good but probably wont last. wife & i went to try mt. fuji during an off peak time so we didn't have to wait. service was very good in the traditional seating area. the food was very good however it was more expensive than it should have been. the service and food alone however wont be good enough to make up for the prices. it's a nice area and the people around here can afford it but you have to offer much more to justify those prices. it has to be 5 star to charge $150 for two people who aren't drinking and though it was good it's not 5 stars. we are going back soon to give it one more try, but our guess is it will be another owner/restaurant by christmas.

food was over-priced, took a long time to be served, and sushi didn't taste very fresh.
