i am a sucker for italian and french bakeries and cafes and this new outlet atkailashdoesn't disappoint. i visited here for a saturday late morning breakfast and i was surprised witb everything.

ambience: an extremely well designed interior. the whole place has a really classy look. beautiful display and a non cluttered seating arrangement. seating is comfortable and the vibe is good.

food: i ordered scones with blueberry jam and cream, croissant, pepper strudel, a mocha for my friend and a latte for myself. every single item was great. the croissant was one of the best i have had in delhi and the strudel was also worth a mention. the coffees were fine. the scones could have been better. the menu is pretty vast and i will keep updating as i go and try other things.

service: the staff and the service is what makes it an absolute delight to visit here and why i am giving them a big 5 star. great attention to customer and his needs. well trained and good natured. a big thumbs up. keeo up the good service and we will keep returning.

price: moderately priced. will not hurt your wallet to visit once in a while. if you try a few items from their menu over a breakfast for two people, the cost should be around 700 for two.

this newly opened cafe inkailashcolony serves the most scrumptious food. their menu itself is mouth-watering. at the first time of my visit, me and my friend had the best veg lasgne, mezze platter and the yummy wild berry smoothie and nutty shakes. all were so good that within a week, i paid my second visit here with my colleague wherein we tried the crazy spring rolls, iced mocha coffee, strawberry pastry and everything was so so good. we also had burger which was quite decent because of the soft patty inside but the sauces with it were amazing and covered it up.

from the house of mr. brown comes danbro inkailashcolony. a pretty vegetarian cafe with a kind of lounge feel with plush velvet and hues of deep blue but a lot of artistic woodwork breaking the monotony of the place.

one fine brunch day we devoured a couple of things like the pizza, the panini, mushroom caps and even shakes. the focaccia panini was the center of attention with mozzarella, basil, tomatoes and the perfectly baked focaccia bread. they really know their bakery items and thus i do recommend you shop from them whenever you get the chance. the pizza was also great, a classic thin crust with vegetables and cheese but another thing that we really liked were stuffed mushroom caps, button mushrooms with a bread crumb coating, deep fried to perfection. their eggs with avocado were a little disappointing, while the indian avocado is great, it generally doesn't go well with eggs and hollandaise but the plating without any sides made us thing this is half prepared dish.

their coffee and shakes especially the brownie shake which is thick and so well balacned in terms of brownies, chocolate and sugar is another thing not to be missed!

delhi's not a city that’s short of a good bakery or cake shop, but separating the outstanding from the ordinary can take a fair bit of munching. danbro recently opened up it's doors inkailashcolony serving delicious pastries, waffles, 40 types of breads, cakes, macaroons and some italian items.
few of the recommendations in the desserts include the orange cheesecake, the opera pastry and the tarts. also these desserts are priced very reasonably and do not burn a whole in the pocket.
verdict - go check out the beautiful bakery and try out the interesting dishes this place has to offer and you certainly will not be disappointed.

recently propped by at danbro for breakfast. the bakery cafe is done with plush velvet and hues of deep blue, giving the whole place a very supreme look. located close to thekailashcolony metro station, the breads and bakes and absolute treats. what stood out most was the focaccia panini with mozzarella, basil and tomatoes and the perfectly baked focaccia bread. i really like the stuffed mushroom caps as well - crunchy coated button mushrooms, cheese, beetroot and deep-fried. absolutely lovely.another plus, their coffee and shakes - the brownie shake is a must have, perfectly thick, not too sweet.

not sure why, but bakeries and gift shops have been my weakness. i spot one and want to enter and then pick everything that looks good.

have done it at many places, rather all places, from shimla to hongkong and goa to singapore.

kuch din pehle i received a bakery hamper from danbro. dekha to tabiyat khush ho gayi. khaaya to tabiyat aur bhi khush ho gayi.

bas tabhi se tha ki jab bhikailashcolony, nehru place side chakkar lagega to i shall go and visit them and see the offerings.

par chakkar na lage and pyaar saccha ho to kya hota hai.

hota hai yeh hai ki aap specially plan karte ho ek visit.

bas aisa hi kuch hua this friday.

located on the main road next tokailashcolony metro station is this bakery cum cafe with a big elevation.

best part hai ki one does not have to worry about parking as parking to hai hi par then they also have valet facility.

i so desire a place like this on my way back to home from office, jahaan aap raste mein gaari valet ko do, pick a few bites to eat on the way and get some goodies for home.

par na jee, apni side aisa kuch nahi hai.

ab what i thought would be a nice cosy bakery turned out to be a big cafe, very nice interiors and flashy racks have goodies on them that make you pick more than you can pick. ha ha ha. :-)

ab plan was also to meet pawan hora bhai from wish box pr, a legend in pr trade and also the very humble chef anjali mohan jee, who has many accolades to her credit and many of them were won at her long stint at taj kitchens.

ab danbro india is owned by lucknow based mr. brown bakers who now have their physical presence in 12 plus outlets across lucknow, kanpur, delhi, kaushambi, noida, indirapuram, raj nagar etc.

coincidentally, on my last visit to lucknow i saw a few outlets and my friend, a resident of lucknow told me that they do excellent stuff. ab dimag mein swaad lucknawi chat ka tha so bakery ki taraf mehnat nahi ki.

par koi na ab try karte hai.

so the menu is vast, and every dish makes you order it, so i gave the tough task to the restaurant manager and bola “jo khilaoge woh sar aakhon par”

and then began the road to heavenly taste.

the qinoa grill salad looked so good ki dekhte hi raho aap and the addition of chips added a perfect texture to the salad.

uske baad aaya falafel and hummus. have to say ki we ordered hummus repeatedly. itnaaa barriya tha woh.

best part is every thing that they serve is created in-house kitchen. i am not falafle fan, par khaakar maza aa gaya :-)

ab aaye stuffed mushrooms and the kurkura texture on the outside and mast flavours on the inside made me have 3 of them.

arre baba, did i tell you ki they are a vegetarian concept? nahi na. chalo ab bta diya. i know many of my friends will be delighted to hear this.

alll this while, i kept sipping my wild berry smoothie. perfect thi jee :-)

and then came the chilly toast, which i shall insist you must order once you are there. bahut hi barriya :-)

ab aaya paneer makhni burrito, corn paneer spinach burger and char grilled lasagna.

burrito ka to lacche waala outer bhi mast tha and andar makhni paneer bhi and kuch bhi karna par inka char grilled lasagna zaroor khaana. priced at rs. 357+ , this is a must have.

ab isse pehle i start drooling again, let me tell you that the breads are super fresh and are handcrafted. i bought some home and bina kuch butter shutter lagaye aise hi kha gaya :-)

the cheesecakes (i tried blue berry) have bahut hi barriya taste and texture. i was told that it’s gluten free.
and haan baklawa se mooh meetha karke zaroor aana.

ek aur baat bta du?

they open at 8 so breakfast bhi sorted hai in all senses.

jaldi hokar aana and btana kaisa laga.

located very adjacent tokailashcolony metro station, one cannot miss this beautiful cafe passing nearby. its danbro's first flagship cafe in india. reknown for its bakery, danbro also can be referred to friends for some delicious pizza, pasta, risotto and all day breakfast.

80’s music playing in the background made the ambience very ravishing. with the help of the polite attendant, we tried our hand at santa fe salad, stuffed mushroom caps, mumbai club sandwich and wilted spinach pizza. the santa fe salad was a very basic salad consisting corn, green beans, tomato, cucumber, jalepenos, assorted lettuce, peppers and crisp nachos. liked the cheesy deep fried mushroom caps which is good munching option with mojito or shakes.

the mumbai club sandwich was wrapped with paneer tikka, beetroot, tomato, cucumber, cheese and served with hari chutney spread. it could have been better dressing and tasting wise. the wilted spinach pizza is a good option to order cause of its crisp base topped with roasted garlic, basil pesto, ricotta and goat cheese. personally loved it most.

i like crisp waffle generally, but here the banoffee pie that i had felt soggy, may be it seems to be eaten in that way with the bruleed bananas and cinnamon butter. the baklava pastry full of filo layers and rich of honey and chopped nuts was something nice to try. they have a lot of dishes baked fresh for take away order.

the lemon iced tea that my friend had was nothing special, but i liked my caramel macchiato which was espresso with a dash of steamed milk finished with vanilla syrup and caramel sauce.

overall a good cafe and bakery to enjoy a lovely sunday morning with your beloved ones.
