bwhaaattt????. mmmmmkay. went there for alatedinner on a friday night. many obnoxious lawyer types shouting over each other at the bar, with an equal number of implant chested, 40 something, recently divorced women. drinks ok.

tables were full, so reservations were necessary. seated about 15 minutes after our reservation. our waiter appeared drunk/high or naturally braindead. he could have doubled for a jersey shore castmember. while taking our orders he thought it was ok to switch our orders to what he thought we would like. our plates were only cleared when the main course arrived and our waiter forgot to bring our bread, while he was joking in the kitchen. he had an obnoxious habit of soft punching everyones shoulder after a poor joke. he spilled ice everywhere while refilling our waters. he even started hitting on one of us right in front of her parents. very disrespectful. the steroids seemed to have eaten his brain away.

now to the food. we had mussels and ribs for appetizers, which were very good. scallops, steak, stuffed pork chop and the perch fish fry for mains. all were very good to excellent.

birthday dinner. this used to be my absolute favorite place to have a girls dinner night. my birthday was about a month away so i called and made reservations- there was a total of 8 of us. they said that would be absolutely fine! well the week of the dinner i called again to double check that we were still on. everything was running smoothly. then the day came. we show up for our dinner only 7 came- 1 was sick- they charged us $35 .00 for the ill person. they were quitelateto seat us 25 minutes to be exact. good was not worth the price. and i've never said that! when the bill came they put it all on one check and refused to break it apart. this place put a damper on my night. no customer service, you're food isn't the best anymore so stop acting so snobby

perfect forlatenight. sometimes the quality of food goes down if you come in late, not this place. always tasty.

the bestlatenight spot.. we go to mothers quite often forlatenight grub and have never been dissapointed. the wait staff are all experienced, polite, and courteous. the food is beyond stellar, you pay for what you get. if you think the prices are high...well i have never left there feeling cheated.

music is a little annoying at times but i understand what they are going for. have you ever been at a place where you can hear everything going on from 4 tables all around you? well not here you have a blanket of music to be able to express yourself in any manner you want and dealing with people who tend to come in quitelateand possibly drunk is a welcome idea.

i always recommend to people who are looking for alatenight bite to eat because you are assured to get not only great service but stellar food.

thank you mother's! the extensivelatenight menu has saved me many times from resorting to chips from the local gas station. very good food, consistent good service. a great place to hang out and people watch.

bestlatedining anywhere in the city. the menu is never the same except for a few items. yet, the food is outstanding every time. i enjoy going to mother's when i can and i never know what to expect to eat there. a constant juggle of surprises, which appeals me.

great forlatenight dining but leaves much to be desired as far as taste. keep your expectations low and you will be pleased. wait staff is super cool abs accommodating. stick with the simple stuff when dining here.

bestlatenight.latenight dining, one of the best in the city. very causal, specials changes by the day, menu is always juggled around. great variety. this keeps me coming back frequently to find out what they have to offer. wine selection is excellent.

great for late-night!. the food is decent--nothing spectacular to write home to mom about..but good---especially forlatenight eats. there is always a special sheet, handwritten daily. some of the entrees can actually be quite good but most are average. definitely go for the brie artichoke dip--you can't go wrong! wine prices are fair (contrary to a lot of other restaurants in buffalo) so enjoy a bottle with your meal!
