moore dessert please

just ok, won't return. stopped in today to check out this bakery. they only had a select fewcupcakeflavors on hand, so that's what we got. we tried a chocolate, a s'mores and a red velvet. they were mediocre at best. the cupcakes themselves were dry and didn't have much flavor. the frosting was super, super sweet and fairly gritty. all three cupcakes we tried just weren't very flavorful. we were disappointed. we wanted to try the featured brownies and cookies, but almost two hours after they had opened, they didn't have the baked goods ready.
the shop is cute and clean and spacious, but the cupcakes just aren't that good. i think i'll wait awhile for them to iron out the kinks before (and if) i return. sorry!

three words: best. cupcakes. ever.. oh my! if you live in dayton, you have to try moore dessert please! their cupcakes are amazing and you can tell that they bake from scratch! they have some of the best icing around and i love the face that they don't use shortening in it!! they have amazing cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cakes, cookie cakes... everything is good. i haven't had acupcakethat i have not liked yet. i haven't had any issues with dry cupcakes from mdp in over a year, so i am not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from(i go like once a week).. maybe they have been eating too many bad cupcakes (like junebugs

i really wanted to like this place.... i love gourmet cupcakes and was excited when i saw that a local shop was featured oncupcakewars. i have tried this place three times. the first time i went they were nearly sold out of everything.... wasn't even close to being the end if the day and had no intention of baking more... unprofessional if you ask me... customers expect to have a nice variety if they take the time to visit a store. they did have chocolate, vanilla and carrot cake left. i tried one of each. vanilla was awful!!... vanilla is usually my favorite flavor and in my opinion should be perfected by any cake shop.... cake was dry, dense and overcooked... the icing might of tasted good but they chose to put those cheep sugar crystals on top and that's all i could taste. carrot had the consistency of a muffin more than a cake but was decent. chocolate was just okay... definitely nothing to ride home about. i will say that the next two times i went i got some of their more unique flavors and those were good... the oreo and buckeye both had good flavors. but seriously... you need to change your vanilla cupcake!!!!! there is no excuse for this flavor not to be perfected... i tried the vanilla all three times and the same thing each time!

best cupcakes in all of the ohio! it disturbs me to hear some of the complaints that people i would say.. especially the 1 too much frosting.. wipe it off.. the smell of sweet sugar.. it's a bakery.. what do they want to smell.. and if they do smell the cleaner at least they know you're clean.. that's just some of the complaints that i have about the complainers.. you guys are very generous to offer a free cupcake.. so i am thinking these people absolutely adore your cupcakes who would not and just want a free ones because they are so good.. keep up the good work.. because i really was giving up trying to find acupcakegood enough to eat around here and you guys went above and beyond my expectations of a excellent cupcake..i think you will have your own tv show and you will be come the most popularcupcakepeople in america.. keep up the good work!

disappointed. saw them oncupcakewars and thought i should support a local business, was very disappointed. the staff was talking on the phone and acted as though i was interrupting them. the cupcakes,purchased a total of 6 , all tasted the same-as thought they were made out of the same mix. too much icing and the frosted sugar cookies looked like the type we got from gfs for a school fundraiser---tasted like them as well. maybe since they are new, i will have to give them some time to get things together. left wondering if they just jumped on thecupcakecraze w/o really understanding the importance of quality and customer service.

it's okay. cute little place. thecupcakeicing taste greasy and thecupcakeitself is okay, nothing to write home about. rather tasteless, but cute. if you are looking for looks, go for it, taste--well, i won't be going back.

we loved it!!! we tried the pumpkin cheese cake and the turtle sundae! both were awesome. frosty was perfect and thecupcakewas moist. we will be back!

hidden charm. were heading to a venue 5 miles away, so opted to stop even though it was already late in the day. the shop is extremely empty besides a small gelato cooler. the girl behind the counter was very pleasant and it was quite refreshing. there were five flavors still remaining for the day, so we took one of each. must say that the blueberrycupcakewas delicious! some of the cakes were more moist than others, but the icing was consistent on all of them. wasn't gritty or overly sweet. we would definitely return if in the area.

over and under. the shop and the decorations were lovely,. however, a business' success is based on its products. in my opinion, thecupcakewasn't moist enough -- possibly over baked. the icing was under whipped (still gritty); i like icing creamy and smooth.

best sweets ever!. i'm a huge sugar cookie andcupcakefan. moore dessert came up with the idea to combine both! the designs are adorable, but the taste of the products are even better. i have ordered dozens of cupcakes and cookies to bring into work. they're always gone within minutes, and people are dying to order their own. they're perfect for a small get-together, or even birthday parties and weddings, because the decorating rocks. highly recommend!!!
