moore dessert please

i called up moore desserts please to order a cake for a friend who had seen pictures online and was wanting to try it out. i am so glad i called! the cake turned out beautifully and was delicious. esp. loved the buttercream icing. a job well done and i will definitely order from here again!

just ok, won't return. stopped in today to check out this bakery. they only had a select few cupcake flavors on hand, so that's what we got. we tried a chocolate, a s'mores and a red velvet. they were mediocre at best. the cupcakes themselves were dry and didn't have much flavor. the frosting was super, super sweet and fairly gritty. all three cupcakes we tried just weren't very flavorful. we were disappointed. we wanted to try the featured brownies and cookies, but almost two hours after they had opened, they didn't have the baked goods ready.
the shop is cute and clean and spacious, but the cupcakes just aren't that good. i think i'll wait awhile for them to iron out the kinks before (and if) i return. sorry!

first week open in new storefront; went late in day, around 4 pm on a friday. only cupcakes left were banana, carrot cake and cherry pie. the carrot cake was simply divine: most, warm and tasty cake, frosting was delicious - warm, soft and sweet, but not cloyingly so, with specks of cinnamon (and i typically scrape frosting off). definitely will go back.

wedding. i had moore dessert please do my wedding cake/cupcakes and they turned out amazing! the owner did a great job of giving us what we wanted for a very competitive price. i especially liked that no one bothered us throughout the process or tried to upsell us or tack on extra costs. we got lots of compliments from wedding guests on the cupcakes/cake, it was soooooo delicious :) everything turned out great brittany! thank you so much !!!!

i stopped in yesterday, a big disappointment. the store was cute and employees seemed pleasant. they had a small handful if flavors. i bought 3 different kinds, they looked good. that's about all i can say good about them. they were dry...dry...dry. the frosting wasn't that great either. someone stated before, gritty(from the sugar). i'm really bummed, i was really looking forward to some yummy cupcakes. well that didn't happen...:(

three words: best. cupcakes. ever.. oh my! if you live in dayton, you have to try moore dessert please! their cupcakes are amazing and you can tell that they bake from scratch! they have some of the best icing around and i love the face that they don't use shortening in it!! they have amazing cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cakes, cookie cakes... everything is good. i haven't had a cupcake that i have not liked yet. i haven't had any issues with dry cupcakes from mdp in over a year, so i am not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from(i go like once a week).. maybe they have been eating too many bad cupcakes (like junebugs

i love this place!  not only do they offer cupcakes, but they also offer a wide variety of other delicious baked goods as well. they also have the best milkshakes around!  i have never been disappointed and the service and staff are always friendly.  this is the best bakery in the dayton area for sweets.  i highly recommend!

best place to get cupcakes in dayton! the buckeye and strawberry cupcakes are by far my favorite and always fresh. the workers are always very friendly.

i love the freshness of the cupcakes, i mean those buckeye cupcakes make me have a sugar rush but i am so beyond happy. thank you for making the transition easier when the owners switched and keeping the quality of food fresh.

i’ve been to moore dessert please a few times and i’ve always been so happy. my wedding cake came from them and we stop in frequently for cupcakes. they’re always so fresh and flavorful. you can totally tell they’re made from scratch and i just love that! it’s hard to find a high quality dessert in dayton.

i was very excited to try, heard great things. the guy behind the counter was very nice? i got my cupcakes and brownies they all looked great! took a bit of carrot cake cup cake, very disappointed duncan hines taste better! tried a couple other, just very disappointing.

yummy treats!. my girls and i love moore dessert please for a special treat. one of the things i really love is that they occasionally have bogo deals and discounts later in the day which they post on their facebook page! the cupcakes are delicious as are the cookies. the staff has been very friendly and helpful each time we have visited. very happy they are just a short drive down shroyer from our house! yum!!

i really wanted to like this place.... i love gourmet cupcakes and was excited when i saw that a local shop was featured on cupcake wars. i have tried this place three times. the first time i went they were nearly sold out of everything.... wasn't even close to being the end if the day and had no intention of baking more... unprofessional if you ask me... customers expect to have a nice variety if they take the time to visit a store. they did have chocolate, vanilla and carrot cake left. i tried one of each. vanilla was awful!!... vanilla is usually my favorite flavor and in my opinion should be perfected by any cake shop.... cake was dry, dense and overcooked... the icing might of tasted good but they chose to put those cheep sugar crystals on top and that's all i could taste. carrot had the consistency of a muffin more than a cake but was decent. chocolate was just okay... definitely nothing to ride home about. i will say that the next two times i went i got some of their more unique flavors and those were good... the oreo and buckeye both had good flavors. but seriously... you need to change your vanilla cupcake!!!!! there is no excuse for this flavor not to be perfected... i tried the vanilla all three times and the same thing each time!

great cupcakes with great flavor! i have been getting cupcakes here for a little over a year and have never been disappointed with the cupcakes. the only minor complaint i would have is that i had the same staff member who was pretty snotty with an attitude a few times i was in there. but i haven't experienced it for a while so i am assuming that the issues have been handled. but if u r looking for a sweet treat that is awesome, give mdp a try!

i absolutely love moore dessert please! i have ordered two cakes from them and have tried several different flavors of their cupcakes. they were all amazing! my favorite is def the cotton candy and ducle de lache!! they were very flexible when i needed to change the date of one of the cakes i have ordered! i never had an issue with customer service and if i had to email or message them with a question they have always responded in a very timely manor! the shop looks great and they are all so nice when you walk in! you can tell that they defiantly take pride in what they do and use the best ingredients possible! i can't wait to go back again!! (even though i've been trying to hold back because i'm dieting... a cheat treat is always good though!)
