moon river pizza

loved it. ilovethis kind of pizza, generous toppings, great sauce, real mozzarella, perfect crust hand tossed and cooked in a brick oven to give the bottom that toasted flavor and make it crispy and most importantly a good price for great value. we will be back many times.

everyone on zomato raves about this place so i decided to take my big girl here on our daddy-daughter date because pizza's her favorite food. they were very busy on a friday night. loved the relaxed atmosphere. we ordered the meat lover's, or t-rex, pizza. we waited a good bit but as i said earlier, there was a large crowd so that was to be expected. the pizza came to our table fresh out the oven and extremely hot! once it cooled down enough to eat, we dove in and it was phenomenal!!! i mean, everything about it was on point. then it cooled down some more and the crust became a little tougher than i'm accustomed too. i was very disappointed. because of its high reviews, i'll chalk it up to a rare occurrence and assume this isn't the norm but i'll be back to verify which moon river pizza is the real one. update 09/24/16: visited moon river again last weekend and it's been confirmed for me.....i'm not a fan of their crust. at all.loveeverything else....the beer, salad, service.....but their crust needs a serious upgrade.

best pizza by far in my opinion. ilovethe white pizza with extra feta cheese. calzones are also very good and full of toppings. fair prices for good food.

oh, how ilovethee, moon river. best pizza in town; has been since the dang doors opened. great staff, new art constantly, gimmie dat g spot (get yer mind outta tha gutter - it's a spice mix for yer 'za). now offering vegan options.. triple that yaaaas.

i heart moon river. not only do ilovethe pizza at moon river, but i adore the staff. it's such a fun experience. if you haven't been, you must go.

awesome. as always, moon river is off the chain. iloveeating here, killer pizzas and always a good selection of beer on draft. cool vibe and all around good time.

best pizza in north florida. my husband and ilovecoming to moon river pizza, especially after a long climbing day. the pizza is never disappointing and the service is always friendly and outstanding. the staff works well together and it shows with the flow of things in this place because its always busy but also super efficient. last night we went we tried a calzone for the first time and it was huge. the guy upfront asked if we were splitting it and when they brought it to our table they had already cut it in half for us to share. the pesto stix are nice for sharing with a group of at least four people, and the slices are never skimpy on size or toppings. the vegetarian pizza is one of my favorites here but i've yet to be disappointed ever at this place. the best part about the actual pizzas is that the crust is never soggy, its nice and crispy where it should be and holds together even under a mountain of toppings.

great after a workout!. my husband and i were invited out to moon river with some friends after climbing for a couple hours and were floored! the pizza was probably the best we've had since moving to florida two years ago (if not in the top 5!) the atmosphere was fun but not overbearing and the beer was priced nicely too! for our group of 8 we ordered a couple pies and a few extra pizza slices. plenty of food for us and to take home! they served the individual slices on smaller pizza trays and were amazing! i ordered the pizza by the slice and my husband tried out the vegetarian. sooo good and soooo fresh tasting! staff was great too and didnt rush to kick us out at closing time! (i always hate when i feel rushed out of an establishment when its closing time.)

if i lived in jacksonville i would return, and often. im about an hour away but i will still return and as often as possible!

great food awesome service and cheeeeaaaap!.lovelovelovethis place soooo good food is always right out of the oven and delicious. service is friendly and great. all around a good place to eat :)

freaking awesome ilovecomming down from wv every year to get a pizza here. simply the best.

let me tell you something, ilovepizza. ive had it from everywhere, i used to work at an airport and we would get food the crews gave us some of the best catering you could imagine, one of the things we would get often was pizza. i had new york style pizza from new york, chicago style from chicago, ive had mellow mushroom, lobster pizza, all kinds of pizza. but the best for me has always been moon river, i been going to the one in fernandina longer then i can remember maybe 12 or 15 years or more, it dosent get old!. i could eat it everyday of the week and not get tired of it, you cannot go wrong with moon river, add in all the amazing local art they have on the walls (which you can buy), get your own drinks. what more could you possibly want from a place? good vibe, good food, sometimes very very busy, moon river is a 9.9 out of 10.

stupedelicious!! ilovemoon river for their enormous slices, cheap prices, and fabulously tattooed staff. my fab is the maui-wowee hawaain pizza with hot peppers! one slice might not be enough but 2 slices is waaaaay too much so gauge your appetite wisely!

gonna try it today!. was highly reccomended by my friend. gonna try the fernandina location today. jax people do not know good pizza down here, so i will give moon river a try! why do 99% of all pizza shops put the "toppings" under the cheese??? a pie made that way is called "montreal" pizza. up in montreal, the entire top is smothered with cheese, so u cannot see what the toppings are! but thats how jax folkslovetheir pizza. i'm going to moon river today and try the greek salad, pepperoni, and the mushroom-spinach, and the wt pizza, and micro brews! hope its as good as the reviews and my friends reccomendation! see ya there!

can't get enough. i eat at moon river at least once a week. the price is just right and the pizza is the best. i always order the pizza. it is chocked-full of flavor and piled high with white cheddar cheese, spinach, garlic and mushrooms. all the ingredients are fresh. you'll find no canned mushrooms or frozen spinach here. i don't think i'll ever eat any other pizza slice that ilovemore than moon river's.
