customer service. mona lisa in little italy has great food, but the customer service is absolutely the worse!! i have experienced their bad service more than twice and yet again today!!

very authentic. mozzarella pizza was very cheesy and great for kids. sandwiches yummy and spaghetti had a really light tomato sauce. big portions. salads fresh.

this is a quaint little market that sold the best, sweet, substantial white anchovies, portioned out in little deli containers, that i've ever had in my life. i used to go specifically for those.

we tried the #8 deluxe sub which is salami and ham on provolone and mortadella. the meats are sliced fresh at the deli and are very top quality. i had it on an italian roll which was firm but not too hard, and very fresh.

the meatballs were flavorless, and the marinara sauce was not much better. the garlic bread appeared to be toasted and then steeped in butter until soft. i actually enjoyed the meat and cheese appetizer much more than my cannelloni. too many italian restaurants nearby to visit this one again. the rest of my dining party thought that their food was just okay to mediocre.

authentic as they come. i loved this place. it is old school italian and inside looks like it hasn't been touched for decades. it creates a great atmosphere to go along with the incredible food. i ordered the ravioli with meat sauce form the ala carte menu and it came with a complimentary garlic bread. it was a generous serve, tasted great and the garlic bread was so good. there were about 6 big pieces of it and it mixed perfectly with my pasta sauce. staff are very attentive always filling up my water and asking if i needed anything. if you want a big feed with very reasonable prices this is the place for you. their deli that is connected is also worth a visit!!

awesome!!!!!. my son and i were there a few months ago, and we had the most amazing dinner there!!!!!! before we even entered the building, i turned to my son and said, "this is going to be great!!!!" i could tell just from the smell of the food that it was going to be good!!!! i had the raviolis and my son had chicken alfredo, and both of us loved our dinner!!!!! ive actually been trying to make red sauce like theirs and im so disappointed because i cant even get close to theirs..... i would absolutely recommend mona lisa's to anyone who likes italian food!!!! in fact, if im ever in san diego again, i will go again!!!!!!

amazing food and huge portions. seriously delicious. try the chicken marsala. the spumoni ice cream is delicious as well.

i had the pesto. well i should say i had two bites of the pesto because that's all i could gag down. disgusting! they should drain the pasta before putting it on a plate.

food was terrible we thought with so many people liking this place it would be ok. both the spaghetti and pesto was served in a pool of pasta water. sauce tasted like it was out of a can the italian dressing wasn't even homemade, really how hard is it. i opened this account just for this review. run from this place!

the deli and market were amazing! nice italian wines to accompany the outstanding freshly prepared deli sandwiches. what a treat!

there are a lot to love about mona lisa italian foods, and we went back for a second meal on our final evening in san diego (that time we got only one pizza, and we were full!). this italian restaurant is highly recommended, especially with a large group!
