not the best. sure, the sushi is cheaper here than other places, but it is not proper sushi. the rice is done in a press and is not seasoned properly with the sugar, salt and rice vinegar, not mixed properly to form good nigiri and have the proper flavor. it won't stick together, so every time you dip a piece, the rice falls apart. plus, the fish is way too thickly sliced for the amount of "sushi" rice. i have also tried another of their cooked dishes, the scallops, and it was okay - not something i'd order again. this is very disappointing, as miyako is near where i live, andlovegood japanese food. i guess i could just order sashimi, if i had the craving. but, i'll stick to cooking japanese at home, which isn't easy. i have to order shiritaki noodles online, and plan a few days ahead to make sukiyaki, which i haven't found in any so-called japanese restaurants here in winston-salem.
