um okay well, this was my second choice (key word: second). a spit within a neighbourhood - just randomly in between houses what?!! why?! who approved this and why? it did look a little cute though.  sadly, i ate half of my oatmealpancakeswith seasoned potatoes - my savoury potatoes was hugging the sugary syrup for my pancakes. if i want to have pancakes, i want the good kind- not oatmeal. service was horrible. hot chocolate was horrible. lets just say, ughs!

the food was over priced for the quality served. whipped cream from a can and eggs out of a premix box. we ordered french toast andpancakesfor $14 per dish and it definitely didn't stand up to our expectations.
the service was slow and non professional. we asked them to change thepancakesbecause the we're cold ( after waiting for more than 15 mins for butter) and the resistance was very obvious in her tone of voice, although the server did finally change it. all together this first visit has convinced me not to go back, ever again.

this would have been a 4 star review had i made it a solo trip, but alas the poached eggs (or lack thereof) knocked it down a peg. mitzi’s is still worth a visit though for the french toast (and i hear the oatmeal buttermilkpancakesare pretty killer too), but if it’s poached eggs you crave, be specific,…if only for the sake of your toast and its reason for being.
