usually good...but. picked up some pork...raved about it to my friends. wow! what a dissapointment. no flavor to the meat (ever heard of salt & pepper?) meat was undercooked...some pieces were downright tough. no smoke flavor. also picked up what i thought was a pint of slaw...got about 2/3 of a pint. quality control lacking on this occasion. next time i'll go to saws in homewood...always consistent. try again miss myra.

food fair, overrated. if you think this bbq is the best in birmingham, you haven't been around. there is much better bbq in this area.

we had the bbq pork and chicken. this was somewhat dry and salty. the banana pudding saved the day. best. ever.

oh how i miss your lemon pie!. if only it would ship fedex up to north carolina. there's not a place up here that even understands what magic that pie is made of. and your barbecue! can i tell you how much i miss your barbecue? north carolina barbecue is nothing like the good alabama recipe. now i'm homesick...

great southern alabama bbq. ole' fashion, well done, hole-in-the-wall bbq the way you want it... been eating here for years. the white bbq sauce is fantastic. big sandwiches... great pies... definitely something you need to try if you haven't.

greatest thing since slice bread. great bbq, whether you get chicken, beef, or pork or a combo you will devour your plate. they also have great banana pudding, lemon ice box, or key lime pie. try it all. rating 9.9 out of 10.

my boyfriend and i went here around 7:30 for dinner. there were no customers there so i expected the southern hospitality that is so closely correlated with alabama's bbq joints. that was absolutely not the case. the staff was rude and they over charged us for our meal. the facility was nasty! the food was pretty good, but no different than any other good bbq.. i've had. my final decision on miss myra's bbq is that i will not return. my suggestion, to any one who feels they must try miss myra's is that you get the food to go.

nothing special at all. average barbecue. stale rolls served with the plate. will not go back. too many other options i've yet to try in b'ham.

consistently good. miss myras is a consistent good bbq. love the chocolate pie. i really like the ribs. i am pleased that it is much cleaner now than it used to be.

i had their simple bbq sandwich, and while i was already impressed with their melt-in-your-mouth pork. but their signature white sauce skyrocketed this sandwich. in an area where sweet, ketchupy sauce dominates, please give this place a try to give a new perspective on bbq.

best bbq sandwich. if you're looking for the best bbq sandwich in town, this is the place.

not so great. this place is certainly nothing special. the chicken plate that i ordered included chicken (with an unremarkable sauce) that was overcooked and vegetables that tasted average, at best. there are many other bbq places in birmingham that would be a better choice. i left wishing that i hadn't eaten there, which is never a good thing!

great bbq.... some of the very best bbq pork i have had anywhere, hands down. the sides could use a lot of improvement. i usually just buy a half pound of pork to go and get sides elsewhere.

get one of the huge baked tatos w pulled chicken; add white sauce and 2 deviled eggs and call it a good day! my boyfriends childhood buddy's parents own the place, so maybe i'm biased. nah, simply great bbq. brunswick stew makes me happy too! this joint gets a "must go" from jennybeth!!
