superb. i've been to mise en place with friends on two occasions. the meals were each extraordinary in their own ways. i'm not sure why folks in the local area haven't rated it more highly. my bet is that if you were trying to find a comparable meal in seattle, new york, los angeles, paris or london, you'd have to be at a michelin 3-star. i say this because every dish was divine. when i think my last meal there, i can almost taste it from start to finish: a simple wild onion salad drizzled with a light champagne vinaigrette dressing and finished with pomegranate seeds, the stewed boar's meat ragu over chewy, al dente pappardelle, the fresh organic strawberries with homemade whipped cream. mmm. i'll be back at mise en place very, very soon.
