excellent and authentic chinese food. had a great time at the restaurant. recommended to reserve a table before hand especially on weekends. a but privy too but the quality is very high

the best part about this place is the eye catching decors and lighting. the entire place is lit in red which gives it a very lively look.

the food is fresh and good (not mind blowing though) . we tried the seasonal buffet, and were served with different varieties of prawns, fish and chicken. the dimsums were really really good, though. thai red curry was okayish.

they had this set dessert consisting of pumpkin custard, fig ice cream and honey dipped noodles which was simply out of the world. hands down, the best dessert i have had anywhere in vizag.

the staff is always on their toes. super helpful in choosing the dishes and making sure you like the food. they were also eager for a feedback to make sure the service never disappoints.


i would recommend visiting the place at least once, for the rejuvenation ambience and service ( and of course that great dessert)

well, stayed for 5 days & 4 nights in this hotel. the food in ming garden was super delicious. spent the best quality time here. wonderful hospitality. live music👌🏼. zeera rice yummy! every inch of ingredients in food were accurate. all in all the wonderful experience!

an afternoon outing for the ming garden started with chicken manchow soup. had to call in the chef as the babycorn in the soup had a chemical flavour may be due to some fertilizer residue .

things picked up from there with our order of hongkong noodles , mixed fried rice , butter garlic fried prawns , crispy chicken and chilli fish. service was great , the place could do with some refurbishing as it had a worn out feel.

our meal ended with a glass of fresh lime soda.

have been here quite a few times.
we love the jasmine tea, water chestnut starter, jade soup,wok tossed chicken with bamboo shoots.
it has a great ambience and service

the food quality and the menu was not up to the mark. the so called. buffet doesn’t satisfy the amount they ask for plus u order veg or non-veg the price remain same but the food variety is limited with 2 starter, main course was just pathetic with such low quality.
not at all acceptable from a 5 star hotel.

they have a very descriptive menu reading from dishes like chop sueys and water chesnuts to a variety of desserts. even though they have a delivery and take away service available, their dining experience is amazing and i completely recommend .dragon roll is a simple dessert but with amazing flavors. i had ordered it for the first time when i went out for dinner with my family. the description seemed good ,nothing unique as such but when the dessert came on the table, within minutes it was completely finished, because it was so good.

tasty food. great and very comfortable seating arrangement. courteous staff. neat and clean. one thing that can be looked upon is, though restaurant is next to beach, sea view is missing, particularly in night time. this is because of hotel's big open area in between. still, restaurant deserves a big thumbs up.

i had specifically booked for a table u doing it for my daughter's bday. unfortunately, that didn't happen !
ordered a burnt garlic chicken fried rice, it had everything but garlic in it... making it a very regular fried rice!!
the soups were good so was the tofu starter ! must try..
good, neat and hygienic ambience. very courteous staff !

ming garden has a very vintage feel to it. the staff a courteous and warm. the food is good. tub tim grub is recommended for dessert. tom yum soup is good. for starters we ordered mushroom salt and pepper, crispy water chestnut and lotus stem salt and pepper and mix vegetable dumplings. good enough for me.

the taj! the staff makes you feel it is taj! authentic oriental food, great and relaxing atmosphere of ming garden. loved it!

for a fine dining experience , this is one of the best places in vizag . i ordered chicken dumplings , pork in plum sauce, chicken pad thai rice and crab soup . everything was excellent . the ambience is superb.

the first thing i would like to say is, this is by far the best place i have visited so far in vizag. the ambience, the food and the most important part is their hospitality which was par excellence. it was our 15th anniversary fir which we visited here and they got us emotional with the surprise dessert with happy 15th anniversary written with chocolate sauce. we were completely overwhelmed by their gesture. the chefs the managers and the waiters everyone are so so courteous. #thetajhospitality as they say.

pan fried veg noodles should contain more variety of veg like borocoli, yellow tomato. option of type of gravy like white, red sould be there.

this place has been such a joy giving place. a quiet place, perfect for conversations and food. one of the finest chinese restaurants in town, which never disappoints you. they promise consistency and quality. their veg steamed wontons have been our favourites for a long time now. what tops the game, the uniquely prepared, vegetables in mustard sauce, burnt garlic fried rice and all time favourite schezwan sauce. tell them how you like it and that’s exactly how you will be served. follow our page on instagram for more food updates @the.food.letters.
