great soup, great salad, great lunch.. i went to sonoma for a business lunch and went with the soup and salad combo. both the jambalaya and the side salad were huge and very tasty.

the cooking class, part of a regular series offered by mimosa grill and its sister restaurants upstream and zink, featured a four-course menu of sausage and charcuterie items. our group of porcine pupils was guided by master professor of pork and mimosa grill executive chef, jon fortes and his sous chef, marlow (apologies for any name misspellings). first order of business was the andouille sausage panini. sous chef marlow started by brea

upscale fare with a touch of comfort. wagyu flank steak and pork chop to die for. special mention goes to the seafood stuffed hushpuppies.

waited too long to return!. the last time i was here was about 5 years ago. we had a great dinner then and even better this time! here's what made it to the table - apps: cornbread and pork sliders. wow. fantastic, especially the sliders- toasted bread, pork, fried green tomatoes. entrees: trout, salmon and penne pasta for my little girl. all were great. the trout and salmon came with sides. even ordered a side of collard greens which were also really good. they give you a lot of food for the money. only complaint was the price and size of the bib salad. overpriced and too small a portion for $8.00. otherwise, the service is excellent, no kids menu but they have several kids choices such as the penne, great city view, comfortable seats, efficent valet parking which they called ahead for when we were leaving, inviting atmosphere and really nice bar area. check it out!

like an old friend. have not been here for a while but the ambiance, food preperation and quality are still fantastic.

we wanted to try something different: crab cakes, chicken gumbo and pumpkin ravoli. the presentation of the meal from the food & sauce to the different shaped plates were great. i wanted to take a picture of the food.

this is a great place to entertain an out of town guest who does not want the same restaurants you can get in orlando, raleigh, atlanta etc.

charlotte classic. one of the historical greats in clt. great place to people watch or catch your favorite banker having a pop or two.

the shrimp & grits and flatbreads are a must. also try the chickin and dumplings (trust me they are not momma's or cracker barrell) - they're so good they should have another name.

pleasant surprise. we were visiting charlotte and thought mimosa looked interesting. we started off ordering 2 bottles of wine which were not in stock so things did not start well. the gm came over with a chateaunuef da pape which was over $25 more than what we ordered and comped us for the difference. i also have a gluten intolerance and was more than accomodated for this. my wife had an app size mac and cheese and my roast chicken with grits and mushrooms were very well made. prompt service and a very satisfying meal made for a very enjoyable evening.

i ate here several years ago visiting charlotte and the food was great. i cleans the plate of every spot of sauce. just came back to city again and wanted to try it again. ordered the lamb shank along w a side of jambalya. the lamb was fully cooked and had good flavor but it was only luke warm and still cold in the center. must have been rewarmed. jambalya was only red colored rice w some sausage bits, no chicken or shrimp. the rice had clumps of white rice in the middle. looks and tast like instance rice w sausage & sauce mixed in after. so very disappointing meal

great food served creatively with exquisite flavor. service, especially at the hostess stand is inexcusably poor. makes me not want to go. chefs should.fire the front end and staff with people that care.
