milestones grill and bar

firstly the ambience is gorgeous. modern, streamlined and comfortable. especially the outdoor patio with the wall fireplace and the ceiling heaters if the night gets chilly.
milestones has revamped their menu and it is more flavourful and gourmet. prices are reasonable
when you consider the beautiful ambience and the quality of food. and if cost is an issue, milestones offers
specials throughout the week on food and drinks making their menu more affordable.
as per the wait staff, i find it's the same with all restaurants, either you get lucky with ones that are friendly and skilled or you don't. don't let abadwaiter experience determine whether the restaurant itself is good or bad, becausebadwait staff don't last long in the business. chances are they won't be there the next time you visit.

awful service. i went there alone on a friday night to do some reading and enjoy a dinner, but felt extremely rushed by my server. i ordered the salmon. small portions but food was decent. thebadservice came after eating my entree. i was told that i had 15 minutes to decide what i wanted to eat for dessert or i had to leave because they needed my table for other customers. my server even had the audacity to suggest that if i want to do some reading, i go to a coffee shop. i was so disgusted that i immediately asked for my bill so that i could leave, which she had handy, and proceeded to pay for an overpriced dinner.
