for all those melbournians going to the morning peninsula, i warn you that while it's a short drive from melbourne, it's worlds away when it comes to food.milbrihowever, could hold its own amongst the best in melbourne. each dish we had for brunch was amazing, but i think the beans on toast was the pick of of the table. tough choice however, as everything looked, smelled and tasted delicious! the only minor downside was that the coffees could have been hotter. the only decent place i've found in the area. fantastic service as well. definitely a standout.

great spot to eat!. unique and refreshing ... we had a great meal atmilbrilast night, finally somewhere with a bit of character in rosebud.

it was noisy but only because people were enjoying themselves.

giuseppe is a treasure, it is so good to be served by someone who seems to love their work ... we will definitely be back ...

went for drinks atmilbrifriday night with my gf and it was fantastic service with a smile. plenty of cocktails and spirits options. had some bar snacks that hit the spot. will be back for sure.

end of week windown. an excellent friday night for four atmilbriwith great service and food. a good selection of beer and wine and the menu had good balance while not being overwhelmed with too many choices. plowman's starter to share then a superb steak, calamari, ribs and chicken wings. roast potatoes and the brussel sprout and cauliflower sides.milbribalances atmosphere, food and service better than most on the peninsula.

amazing first impression.. i had heard about this place through a friend who said that it was nice and it by far exceeded the expectations set. the service we received from giuseppe (i am 90% sure that was his name, 30% sure on the spelling) was perfectly personalised, instantly made the place very relaxed. fortunately for us it was a quiet night so we could have a chat with the relaxed staff, not sure why it was quiet the food was exceptional!!

the calamari i will have again! the steak was cooked to perfection! the quesadilla was better than any mexican restaurant that i have tried! and the chips are some of the best i habe eaten on the peninsula.

i will highly recommendmilbrito friends, family and anyone looking for a lovely night out.

possibly my greatest dinner ever. my wife and i attended themilbrion a sunday night for my birthday and i was absolutely blown away by the amazing service and quality of food. we shared arincini balls for an entree that were incredible. for mains my wife ordered the lamb shank and i ordered the pulled pork quesadilla. we both thought we were in heaven. the tenderness and flavouring of both meals were amazing not to mention the very generous portion sizes. every mouthful of the quesadillawas better than the last. we finished off by sharing an apple pie topped with ice cream and caramel that was out of this world. the night was made all the more better by the terrific customer service and perfect timing of meals being brought out. the little things also made this night a winner like the owner put a candle on our apple pie and singing me happy birthday and also our pinot noir being served in the correct shaped wine glass. every detail was perfect. thankyou for a perfect and beautiful night. we both cant wait to return.

went tomilbrifor my dad's birthday dinner. we ordered sides, main meals, drinks and desserts and everything was sensational!! the food was fresh and delicious. the service was quick and our waiter was absolutely lovely! have never had such good service and the food was devine!! definitely recommend for everyone - families included! great atmosphere! definitely will be back to milbri!!

enjoyed brunch at themilbrioutside on a nice day. the service was so friendly from start to finish. the benny's hash was very delicious and filling; only downside was the salad was a bit too salty. the burrito was great as well. overall, the price was decent.

the question should be what is atmilbrithat you don't love. the answer is nothing. i love it all. josh has become primer almond chi baresta. go see them today.

we were away for the weekend and chose themilbrifor lunch. nothing jumped out at me from the menu though i was impressed with the interior. a table for 6 wasn’t really achievable indoors so we sat outside which led to fairly inattentive service. the food itself also took quite a while to come out though they were good with splitting the bill.

i ordered the paprika dusted calamari with lime and rum aioli. this really lacked flavour and would have benefitted hugely from a squeeze of citrus to lift and lighten it. i didn’t particularly enjoy the dish though all of the dishes we ordered were visually attractive

we went to themilbriand ordered their meat platter. omg this was amazing pulled pork, chicken, smoky beef and more and had sides of kimchi, sauerkraut, chips and home made tortillas. friends had the trio of tacos which included fish, pork and jackfruit which all tasted fantastic.  they do a special on a tuesday for tacos and on fridays they do half priced cocktails. the wine list was reasonable and the selections of beer was good. i love that they source their food locally. 10/10

spending a day on the peninsula, timtam decided to visitmilbrifor lunch, and wasn’t disappointed.

stared off with the beef rolls, which were filled with charred scotch fillet, candied beetroot and mayo. it was delicious, with the sweetness of the beetroot perfectly contrasting the taste of the beef. they’re really filling which is good. this was followed with similarly impressive calamari, light and fresh.

would definitely return!

had a very early dinner here with friends before heading to the hot springs, so it was a bit quiet. the food was modern latino style and decor was cool. we had the steak, mussels, and chargrilled chicken plus a jug of sangria. the scotch fillet steak was sublime, melt in the mouth with a good charred flavor. the beans were tasty but the dish could have done with some salad or a couple of greens to lighten it up. the mussels were good, the charred chicken was nicely flavoured with a good mix of veggies and rice. the sangria washed it all down a treat. we loved that fresh fruity sangria. it wasn’t too sweet either, almost the best sangria i’ve tried. however, some fresh mint or sliced orange in the jug would have made it perfect. the only downside was that the waitress tried to convince us that the mains wouldn’t be big enough without sides and the jug of sangria wouldn’t be enough for us. luckily, we didn’t over order. the servings are generous here and you certainly don’t need sides. the drinks are generous too. overall it was a great meal and would recommendmilbrifor a fun night out with friends!!

so far themilbriis the best place we've eaten ate while we have been up here in rye.

staff are amazing here from the moment you walk through the door till the moment you leave.

food is delicious and decent serving size too. will have to go back for the banana waffles at some point!

we were seeking breakfast/brunch options on a tuesday and had never been tomilbribefore. as we were taking my partner's parents, we wanted to find a place that was quality but not too high impact. giuseppe and staff were utterly awesome. took very good care of us, kept the humours light and lively, and the food was simply delicious. we'll certainly be back whenever we're visiting the peninsula!
