best italian in the rgv.. so far.... i have had better italian food elsewhere but milano's seems to be the best we have tried in the rgv. i enjoyed my plate of lasagna, but my wife had the penne pasta with meat sauce, which wasn't nearly as good. the bread they bring out as appetizer is very good, and if you ask, they will provide olive oil. garlic, and balsamic vinegar, free of charge, which makes it even better! plus, they will bring you as much bread as you like. the minestrone soup was more of a vegetable soup and the salad was just okay, nothing special.
for dessert we split a slice of angela's cheesecake which was also prettygoodstuff. it is different than regular new york style cheesecake. it has a layer of a pudding or custard on it with shredded coconut.
service was excellent!
