i think i found my new local japanese to go place. i ordered the nabe udon, it was sogood😭 and the menu variety reminds me of japan (allowing us to add extra, up a size and extra ramen filling)

my boyfriend ordered the butter garlic yakitori with garlic confit chicken and omg, it was so flavourful. normally with japanese cuisines, flavours are very light and gentle but this was really something.

def recommend this place!! have not yet tried the ramen tho.

delicious food at a reasonable cost. tried the tori shoyu ramen, tempura eggplant, and aburi salmon roll. i was surprised by the eggplant because i haven't seen this tempura option at other restaurants -goodstuff! portions were generous and service was reasonably fast, the venue is very busy and noisy so don't expect much friendliness from staff. also, make sure you book or arrive before the busy dinner hours. overall, i wasn't in awe but food isgoodenough for me to come back or recommend to friends.

after coming back from japan, i've been on a bit of japanese cuisine detox. in my mind, nothing can live up to having the dish from its place of origin. however, all the food here is fantastic. pictured below: tantan ramen ($16), seaweed garlic butter beef don ($16.50) and eggplant tempura ($8.50). the ramen was soo filling and has a really nice spicy kick to it, i would say just asgoodas the ramen in japan and pretty affordable. the don bowl had a garlic miso butter that was divine. it had a life of its own and complemented the meaty-ness of the dish well, eggplant tempura was also yum. really everything on the menu is a standout!

i went back at night this time and avoided the lunch time rush.
service wasgoodand food came out in s timely manner which was also well presented.
the waiters even made sure to show us the bill before the order was placed to make sure everything was correct.
quite well priced and the ambience of the place was nice and warm.
located close to parramatta station so is easy to get to via public transport.
would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

the ramen and takoyaki (surprisingly) was definately the highlights of this jap restaurant. the vegetarian ramen packs the right weight in it when it uses soy milk for creaminess, a trend uncommonly used but similar to rara ramen and lonely mouth so theyre doing something right here. the kimchi is agoodaddition against the creamy broth.

the signature mikazuki ramen with garlic and black garlic oil in tonkotsu really packs a punch. its got a more intense flavour palette than even malatang. satisfies a heavier palette, dont order if you prefer clean ramen. but still very delicious.

the sashimi taco had agoodshell and sauce. the only let down of this restaurant is all its sashimi. its not fresh, bland and lacks any sort of fish flavour. the nigiri sushi rice was the most disappointing of all, with the rice being way too sweet.

otherwise long line but service was quick, don't forget to try the takoyaki! you won't regret. 😊

rarely do i give 5/5 unless it ticks service, food quality and variety, value for money and atmosphere.

came on a friday night with a group of 10 to a massive line and full restaurant. firstly, they attempted to join tables together for our group which was very accommodating considering the layout of the restaurant.

we ordered an array of food which came instantly despite it being so busy. each meal was on point, served in order (entree first then ramens) and suchgoodvalue for money.

decided to try this place out to satisfy my japanese cravings. ordered the signature mikazuki ramen with karaage on the side. staff was very friendly and can understand why this place was packed.

the karaage chicken came out and they were fairly fresh. the breading was quite nice and flavoursome and was juicy on the inside and i could tell it was marinated pretty well.

onto the ramen, presentation was very nice. the tonkotsu broth was umami with the black garlic but thin and it would’ve been nice if it was slightly thicker but that’s just my personal preference. the noodles absorbed the soup very well and it was just umami flavour every time i scooped noodles which remained consistent throughout. the chashu was cold and didn’t contain much flavour in it which was a bit of a letdown so i had to smear them with the chilli bomb and black garlic and the soup to give it some flavour and life. but other than that the ramen was delicious and for its price, the chashu could’ve fared better.

overall, a decentlygoodexperience and i would be back to try other dishes if i ever came back to parramatta again!

the lack ofgoodjapanese food near home compelled us to travel to parramatta on a stinking hot day. they definitely hit the point with comfort rice food. the creamy mushroom on rice was the bomb! rainbow row is quite tasty with a mix of fish and prawns and avocado on top. crab stick rubs along the inside. xihuahua 🐶 did not enjoy her tantan noodle. the broth was too acidic. the noodle itself its good. plenty of minced meat on top. flavored egg on the noodle was perfect! not too pricey as well.

the sushi is perfectly made. they are fresh. if the waitress didnt take my fire ball plate right after i bite the last one, then i will give 5 star. the thing is, i love the sauce, but they are too hurry in taking my plate. well, still agoodrestaurant to visit. will definitely come back.

really enjoyed the seaweed garlic butter wagyu beef don. staff were very patient and service was exceptional. clean and modern restaurant with agoodselection of food. place is small but comfortably spaced.

everytime we come the food is always delicious! can always trust mikazuki to havegoodramen, sushi, karaage, takoyaki, garlic butter beef/chicken. would always recommend!

mikazuki is so so sogoodand filling, all the dishes were amazing, especially the sashimi tacos !! 🌮🍣
would say the ‘miso kingfish ceviche’ was not too my liking as it was a tad sweet 😕 other than that everything is amazing!!
staff were extremely kind and food came out pretty quick ! would definitely come back and enjoy the ambiance of the place ☺️

spicy sashimi tacos and aburi sushi were amazing - great quality. ordered the no 1 signature ramen and no 1 garlic beef don (rice bowl). i expected a lot from both because of its ratings and reviews but i didn’t find them particularly special. i enjoyed the ramen’s noodles and the thin broth (i don’t enjoy thick broths) and there were a lot of toppings. the garlic beef don’s rice was the best rice i’ve ever had - super soft. it was just a little bit too saucy for me but it had a nice flavour. i expected the beef to be more tender. vegetable tempura was better than the prawn tempura. overall,goodexperience and i’d be keen to come back and try more dishes! if you’re a uws student, you can snag a discount too!

great food and value. service was quick withgoodportions. the interior was clean and cosy. would definitely return to try out other items on the menu!

tried out the garlic chicken don and was fairly pleased! you could really taste the garlic and they gave agoodamount of sides so that you didn't end up with a ton of rice at the end.
