love mi cocina!. love eating here. mambo limo margaritas are in a class by themselves! the are $10 each but worth it...they are huge all it takes is one!! the are the uber margarita by which all else are judged. rico salad, 50/50 sunset style fajitas, and latin stir fry are always good. wish the salsa bowls were bigger--i could drink that stuff. the small guac is pretty big. queso isgoodtoo. a little on the expensive side but worth it!! will keep coming back again and again.

verygooddinner. upscale mexican dishes. the service wasgoodas were the margaritas. the only negative was that we were there at closing time for the mall and ice rink and a very noisy machine came out to clean the ice.

decent lunch, a little slow. a group of seven of us had lunch here yesterday. the place was pretty full, we had to wait about 10 min for a table.

we got a couple bowls of queso with spicy ground beef to start- great stuff. i got mixed chicken and steak fajitas. the fajitas were pretty dry, but were tender and had decent flavor. the service was prettygoodin spite of how crowded it was, but it took longer than we expected to get our food. the iced tea was kept full.

we had one slight glitch. the restaurant extorts a 20% tip for parties of eight or more, but they added it to our checks even though we had seven. we needed to get back to work so we didn't try to get it removed.

had dinner here this evening with a number of friends. i got the sunset enchiladas, which are enchiladas with meat in them. i got ground beef. they were very good. not as large as at lot of places, but that smaller portion size has its advantages. we also got queso, which was very good. the salsa brought to the table was thicker, and a lot hotter than most places. it was good! the iced tea was a bit weak, but good. we had a hard time getting our servers attention a couple times. the place was very full at 1840 and was still full when we left at 1950. overall, agoodexperience. would not mind eating here again. my check was about $13.00.

loved the guacamole. the margarita wasgoodbut overpriced. (it wasn't a top shelf marg but i didn't think it was a cheap chalky mix either. but i couldn't believe the price when we got the ticket! glad i didn't order a second one.) we both thought thegoodwas verygood& wished we'd ordered more guacamole.

great vegatarian option. the spinach enchiladas are excellent. they don't have a vegatarian menu but they do have a couple of options. most mexican food vegatarian options are cheese based. which makes a vegan diet difficult. i believe the spinach enchiladas have some cheese, but not too much. making them agoodhealth option.

everything isgoodbut the chips!. the first impression you have of a mexican restaurant is the quality of their chips and salsa. i have been to many mi cocinas and constantly you get barely warm/cold and almost stale chips. how hard can chips be??? the salsa is very spicy, but some of the best in town. the mexican rice is the best i have had. sunset fahitas are also outstanding, but why don't they serve pico de gallo with them? also curious as to why they do not serve sour cream with flautas ($1.50 for a small spoonful of sourcream??)?

okay, let's start with the salsa. people expect to have salsa while waiting at a mexican resturant while waiting for the order to arrive. we have been here thirty minutes and have gotten three small bowls of salsa and two chip bowls for seven people. i asked for more and got two more bowls of salsa so unless you have an appetite for others double dipping don't hold your breath for extra salsa or chips. it has now been five more minutes and they still have not taken our order but we did manage to get someone to get the appetizer order placed. i would hate to see what bad service is if this is consideredgoodservice.
