bad service and took forever to get meal. then it was still cold

love mi cocina!. love eating here. mambo limo margaritas are in a class by themselves! the are $10 each but worth it...they are huge all it takes is one!! the are the uber margarita by which all else are judged. rico salad, 50/50 sunset style fajitas, and latin stir fry are always good. wish the salsa bowls were bigger--i could drink that stuff. the small guac is pretty big. queso is good too. a little on the expensive side but worth it!! will keep coming back again and again.

pretty expensive for average food. very loud atmosphere (voices, not music). the jalapeño margarita was tasty. tacos al carbon were tasty - meat was tender though overcooked. bean soup was bland and rice was cold. salsa with chips were salty but lacking depth.

ordered the enchilada dinner..the tortilla was burnt. the side of queso was cold. scratching this location of my list!

the service is slow and inattentive. the server karla was rude and the manager couldn't have cared less when i alerted her. i will stick with mi chula in southlake and when i want to go to mi cocina i will go to the restaurant in alliance town square, where the service is far superior.

really dissapointed. i have gone to micocina several times.....really liked it, but will never go again!

my lunch was 11.00, with tip i signed my reciept for 14.00.....today, i notice that they gave themselves an additional tip, and re - ran the charge for 18.08. i understand that there can be mistakes, however, this happened the passed 3 times i have gone. i've ignored it until now. i contacted the restaurant and the corp. office. i consider this stealing!!!


funny thing is, it also has happened to a co-worker....numerous times, and they gave her the same excuse as they just gave me!

repulsed. had to go to bb there and was craving fish tacos. i went into the lobby - no menu. i asked to see one since i am new here. then i told the matre de one for lunch. she started walking inside and i didn't hear her. she turned around and said something and i asked her pardon. in an angry tone she told me to follow her. i then told her i would prefer to sit outside. she then reprimanded me for not telling her sooner.

okay then the waiter, who is language challenged gave me a menu. it took forever to get a glass of water. they weren't busy. i asked for a fish taco, rice, and some tortilla chips. he said i would have to order 3 tacos. i said there was no way i could eat that much. he insisted so i said fine. ordered the 3 tacos and with all the sides, this was much more than i could want. also, this was listed at around $14. fine.

then he finally brought me some water and some chips. i hated the place. i have little problem spending $14+tip for lunch, but not when i'm treated so poorly.

i won't return because if i do i'd be way too tempted to harrass them for such ill treatment i received today, and i don't want to lower myself to that.

we came for lunch on father’s day. food was cold. my son and i has order spinach enchilada plate. food was cold. we had ask for sunset sauce and sauce was bland was not spicy. we had eaten many times at frankfurt tollway and food was hot and really wonderful. this time food was not good at all. my daughter-in-law’s food was cold too. we were nine people and not happy. never go back again.

best place to eat amazing authentic mexican food with the best margaritas in town.  ambience and staff is also amazing! they make you feel like home/family every single time.  we always look forward to go back!

overall it was a great experience. we made the mistake of sitting inside on a beautiful night - it was loud as could be. the appetizers were amazing. we split an order of fajitas - first time i have ever had them that they didn't come out sizzling... but tasted amazing. it was also my first experience with a mambo taxi... if you like margaritas and sangria - try it.

definitely a popular spot, so let's start with the disclaimer... it may be a wait, loud, and service could be a bit delayed.

now that we're clear on basic restaurant etiquette, enjoy a mambo taxi. it's a margarita type beverage, but beware, it will kick your tush.

chips and salsa are a plenty, and the tex mex is a dallas staple. if the weather is right, hit the patio. the people watching is faaaaabulous. ;)

it's one of the nicer sit-down restaurants in the mall. the queso blanco is delicious. the salsa has a little kick. portobella mushroom fajitas are incredible!!!

during our conference stay we came for dinner here after our shuttle driver recommended this restaurant. the customer service was great. fre chips and salsa are served. i order the cheese enchiladas and they tasted great. there is also alcoholic drinks available at this restaurant. overall a good restaurant.

very good dinner. upscale mexican dishes. the service was good as were the margaritas. the only negative was that we were there at closing time for the mall and ice rink and a very noisy machine came out to clean the ice.

good food overall, i liked the chips and salsa which is always a good indication to me. my enchilad dinner was very good and the service from denzel was great. nice atmosphere overlooking the ice rink. very comfortable dining alone as i was traveling on business.
