great restaurant! the owner was friendly. i tried the combo 3, which included enchilada, taco, flauta with sides ofbeansand rice. the enchilada was decent but i found it a little tricky to eat (didn't know if i should eat it like a pizza or try to cut it up) and i didn't like the pickled veggie on the enchilada. the taco was delicious and full of flavour! the ingredients were loaded on top of a fresh tortilla shell. the flauta was bland and boring by itself but tasted really good dipped in the jalapeño sauce (really tasty sauce). i really liked the flavour of the crispy tortilla shell that wrapped around the meat. for dessert, i had the empanada and churros. both desserts would've been better if they were fried longer (wasn't crispy enough). the middle of the empanada was disappointingly cold and the strawberry sauce that was drizzled on top of the churro didn't compliment the dessert. overall, most of the food i tried was pleasing to the palate and i would eat here again. the main downside for me is the location.

affordable, nicely flavoured good food! came here for supper early friday night. it was not busy but started picking up just as we were leaving. the owners ( we presume) were very friendly and service was quick. we had tostada relleno to start, which is basically choped plantain shaped into a cup with savoury meat and vegetables on it. it is topped with some sauce and avocado with extra jalapeño sauce on the side. so good! an order will get you four of these, i could easily eat eight! i also ordered combo 3 which was a sampler plate of taco, flauta and enchilada with rice and salad on the side. i found that this is a good variety of flavours and will definitely order this again. hubby got enchiladas with rice andbeansand he was very happy about it. will be back for more!

i went here today with a friend who had never had mexican cuisine before. the restaurant is very nice on the inside. the decor is not your typical mexican interior; it was a pleasant change. service was okay. the food was delicious! i had 2 pupusas, a flauta, and rice and beans. thebeansand rice were very flavourful and well seasoned. the pupusas were delicious! i also love their hot sauce. my friend said she would eat there again and so would i! definitely authentic mexican food at a good price.

first time and coming back. delicious a group of us when in to try it. we been trying to organize it for over two weeks and it was well worth the wait. i had the beef fajita, beauty combos of flavours. i did catch a hint of cucumber i am sure. the refriedbeansbang on, the spanish rice right combinations of not being to spicy but just the right amount of spice to pick up your taste bud. if you dare the hot sauce is interesting i am sure the after tones was one with a alcohol linger to it. i like it!

dessert i had the bread pudding. light hint of bananas balanced out with a dab of whip cream and the sauce.. delicious.

warm like family atmosphere, quick service.

our first visit to mi casa. yesterday was my family's first visit to mi casa restaurante. i can honestly say not one complaint. at first view, it is very clean and inviting and comfortable seating. the waitress was right there to help us find a place to sit and take our orders. very good service. the food was excellent and very authentic which i like the most about this place. i can't wait to go back to try more things on the menu. i had the chili rellenos, my daughters had the enchilada and the tacos. they were all very good and i loved the caesar salad and the refriedbeanswere very good too.

we stopped in on wednesday for supper. the restaurant is small but has a nice decor.
our waitress i'm sure was the owner, very friendly.
i ordered the enchiladas with rice and beans. the enchiladas were not what i was accustomed to. they were more like a mexican tostada. they came on crisp corn tortillas with refried beans, a meat mixture (beef) some veggies and a hard boiled egg and sour cream. to be honest i wasn't overly fond of the meat mixture, i enjoyed the parts without the meat though. but i did eat the entire enchilada.
thebeans(refried) were also not what i am use to they were very thick. the rice was quite tasty.
my spouse had the fried whole fish. if you don't like your food looking at you this isn't for you. the fish was good but lacked seasoning. spouse hadbeans(refried) and salad. the salad was very good.
next time i would ask for rice and salad.
kid had chicken quesadilla with rice and salad. kiddo ate the entire thing so must have been good. kid found it odd that there were greenbeansin it though.
after we ate the kid ordered churros they were offered free as the waitress kept apologizing for the slow service but the service was fine. we walked in at after 6 and were out by 7:15sih.
the restaurant says to be latin/mexican but thinking more like el salvadorian food.
we plan on returning to try some of the other items on their menu.
