best pad thai in town!. thisrestaurantis sure to become a gem in london's byron village and a destinationrestaurantfor londoners. our host (and owner) was very welcoming and helpful to us in choosing from the menu. "herbivores" and "carnivores" will both find what they are looking for at meesai's. what we appreciated most was the freshness of all the ingredients and the blend of spices. try the chicken pad thai: my partner's son thought it was about the best he had ever tasted.the red curry vegetable soup was so full of vegetables in its delicious coconut milk broth it was a meal in itself. the pad puk stir fry with seasonal vegetables and mushrooms came with a sauce that was not heavy nor salty. we chose the vegetable/tofu selection (other options include chicken/beef/pork, or prawn). the kao pad puk, which is a vegetable fried rice selection was delicious, the rice was moist and the dish perfectly spiced. there are 45 items on the menu (appetizers, salads, main dishes and desserts). appetizers range in price from $3.55 for fresh summer rolls to $7.95 for battered calamari. salads are $6.95 (add $3.00 if you want chicken or beef and pork included). main dishes range from $7.95 - $12.95. excellent value for fresh and tasty food in a pleasant environment. it is open daily from 11:00am - 9:00pm.restaurantcurrently does not have a liquor licence but there are a variety of non-alcoholic beverages (including smoothies!). check it out, and spread the word about this little gem in the heart of byron.
