i loved this place! it's a butcher. but like a really fancy butcher in a cute looking shop. but it is also a deli with some premium cold cuts on offer. we are yet to try their meat (as we were out and about and didn't want to be carrying around a kilo of premium steak) but we went with the option of ordering some of their delicious cured meats to eat in.
weorderedsome incredibly delicious jamón (like a spanish prosciutto) ibérico de bellota (or “pata negra” as it’s otherwise known, these pigs feed on nothing but herbs, roots and acorns!), an incredible wagyu bresaola, the duck & pistachio terrine and like a boudin noir (black/blood sausage) terrine, all from their deli. and then we complemented it all with some pickled veggies, a foie gras parfait, a delightful brie and some bread and butter from their shop. they then plate it all up for you and bring it to your table.
we sat outside andorderedsome delicious white wine to wash it all down (the name of which escapes me right now but we ended up buying a bottle to take home!) and spent a delightful afternoon. we'll definitely be doing this again.
