world-class felafel. the only think i've ever tried at max's is the felafel and since i don't get there nearly as often as i'd like that's probably all i'll ever try. this is amazing felafel. the felafel balls are formed and fried right before your eyes, and then layered with an incredible variety of toppings into amassivepita sandwich that almost surely will explode before you finish eating, so keep a fork and plenty of napkins handy.
the shwarma is supposed to be really good, too. i'll have to force myself to try one on my next visit.
