this was a great experience. starters served on the table were excellent. we asked our server shubho singh to increase the spice level and it was done promptly. the buffet spread also was good, especially the butterchickenand the kadhi pakora definitely merits a mention!

a special mention for the rich ambience that was elevated by the copper vessels used, gorgeous!

nice place to have north indian cuisines. as a starters mathaniachickentikka is must try. in main course we've tried amritsari kulche, butter nun withchickenchangezhi. kulche was delicious😋. we've also orderedchickenbiriyani which was not upto the mark. decor is beautiful but service is really slow. overall is good.

like the food, like the place. only thing, it gets a little too crowded during peak lunch hours and walking around to get our dishes from the buffet becomes a slight hassle. but the food is great, so its all worth it.
tawachickenand shaahi tukda are a must try.

a lovely friday afternoon and we decided to stop by at masala mandi for lunch. went to this place without any expectations and was pleasantly surprised by their gorgeous ambience, food and service!
the decor of the place is aesthetically done with beautiful jhulas/swing where you can sit and enjoy your meals along with copper thali and cutlery giving one such a royal feel.
we first started with some tomato shorba/soup which was quite flavourful. for starters, the staff recommended us to try their 'dahi ke kebab'. being a hard core non vegetarian, we hesitatingly placed the order, but voila the dahi ke kebab' was just too good! crispy hung curd kebabs perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside served with chutneys. we then tried their non vegetarian platter which had mutton seekh kebab, prawns, 2 types of fish tikkas and 2 types ofchickentikkas/kebab. while we loved all the varieties we especially loved the mutton seekh kebab which was melt in mouth.
we also ordered the guava chilli mocktail and the kala khatta drink. the kala khatta drink was super refreshing and is a must try!
for main course we ordered, chengezichickenwith butter garlic naan and laccha piranha. we had requested the staff to make the gravy less spicy and they customized the gravy to suit our palette. thechickenchangezi had a thick, rich and creamy gravy perfect to go with breads. while we loved the laccha parantha, the naan could have been more soft.
almost full by this time we skipped the desserts which was a difficult decision considering that they had a mouth watering variety to choose from.
overall would definitely received this placenif you are looking for a good north indian place to satisfy your taste buds. service was brilliant and the staff took special care get feedback from the guests.

i went there after seeing the rave reviews on zomato on new year's eve. however, the experience wasn't pleasant. the food for main course was cold, chickenbiryani was infact rice biryani and the restaurant didn't bother to address the same for quite sometime.
laal maans- one literally had to dive deep into the curry to get themselves a piece of mutton.
the main course was cold. there were other instances too. hope the restaurant addresses this soon. not a quite pleasant experience indeed.

meet one of my most favourite place to dine in, it's "masala mandi", conveniently located on sarjapur main road. cosy ambience, royal feel, delicious food, courteous staff - this place has many in store to offer. the ambience deserves a 10 out of 5 ratings. there's ample sitting area. they have some outdoor hanging seats surrounded by greenery, which really is a sight to eyes and it feels great to dine in. the staff is very welcoming. they attend with much professionalism, they keep taking feedbacks from customers, special mention to "suba singh", we are very impressed with his service.
the best part is food, everything we ordered was worth trying. from starters till deserts and drinks, the food is so good in taste..be it their melt-in-mouth dahi kabab or malaichickentikka or amritsari fish tikka or rasmalai in desserts...everything has a special taste and touch. there's a great range of authentic north indian menu in a reasonable price range and portion.. good enough to make you greedy to try out everything in the menu. i would suggest to go in a group if you want to try many dishes from their menu. they also provide complimentary soup. the food is served in a royal way with traditional copper utensils and good quality and hygiene is maintained.
they have only buffet in weekends(sat and sun). there's enough parking available. they accept all modes of payment (try paying via dineout or zomato pro to get some discounts)
if you are missing a north indian style classy place - then yes, this is the place. i fell in love in the first visit itself.

must try ~ dahi kabab, nonveg platter, biryani, naan/kulcha,chickenchengezi, laal maas, any beverages and desserts.

we have been meaning to visit this place as we had heard some rave reviews about this north indian specialty restaurant. though tad far from our place we utilised the long dasara week and headed for a mid week dinner. absolutely worth the visit and here’s the experience which is worth sharing -
food - the kala katha as a welcome drink is refreshing and indeed welcoming! the veg food platter consists of dahi ke kebab(absolute melt in mouth), the malai broccoli, paneer gurbandi(khoya stuffed inside paneer, i have never eaten such innovative and sumptuous veg delicacy! ), the nawabi kumbh(button buttered mushroom made in indian spices - very delicious)
the non veg platter included amritsari fish tikka, malai murgh kebab, mathaniachickentikka(they use the famous mathania chillies curated from rajasthan, mildly spicy yet looks fiery red and the combination with thechickenmorsels is to die for! the mutton seekh kebab was equally delicious. my favourite was the mathaniachickenand the murgh malai tikka - absolute delight and how so well made!
for the main course we ordered their hari mirch ka paratha, beet root paratha and laccha paratha- all the breads tasted great and very unique in its own way specially beet root and hari mirch paratha. we have never tried these varieties ever before! the rajasthani laal maas was the show stealer (the laal maas is indeed very quintessential to rajasthan, the use of loads of garlic and mathania chillies marinated in yogurt with various other spices does the magic and this place gets the taste absolute bang on), lehsuni methi paneer (chunks of cottage cheese marinated in creamy gravy and garlic as a after taste- perfect with lacccha paratha), the butterchickenwas equally robust and delicious. last but definitely not the least is their daal makhani, i could literally smell the aroma of butter. very well made.

ambience - the ambience is super spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. lot of green space outside seating evokes lot of positive vibes.

customer service- excellent and very polite

value for money- moderate (with this kind of variety and quality, completely value for money)
we will certainly return again, may be next time for lunch:)

16th oct 21, 8 pm we reach masala mandi with 18 guests after giving them information and making our reservations 2 days in advance.

ambiance is really good and we get our seats and now the game starts. we request them to serve starters for buffet and one waiter after other comes and tells us just 2 minutes and it will be served. we keep waiting and begging them for food for next 50 minutes everyone is hungry and is now getting irritated. all the mood of a birthday celebration is gone for a toss.

now they come withchickenwings and precisely 1chickenwing each for 12 people is served and we are left to wait again and the game of begging for food and waiting continues.

then they serve another 2 starters after a wait if another 10 minutes. by the time it was almost 1 hour of wait and guests had filled their stomachs with the cake that we got with ourselves. by 9. 30 they come with few other pieces of scraps and till then 3 of the guests had left without eating anything.

in total we came their to celebrate the birthday of my kid, we begged for food, got humiliated in front of our guests, paid them 1000 inr for each buffet left after eating scraps of starters and pathetic main course.

this not a restaurant but a den of scammers. go eat anything on a street side cart but never ever visit these morons.
