this was a great experience. starters served on the table were excellent. we asked our server shubho singh to increase the spice level and it was done promptly. the buffet spread also was good, especially the butter chicken and the kadhi pakora definitely merits a mention!

a special mention for the richambiencethat was elevated by the copper vessels used, gorgeous!

well ! the only thing saving them is the taste ! service is unexpectedly poor ! almost felt like my food is being made and served by sloths ! indeed that slow! well after a looooooooooong wait my food arrives ! and i get ready to eat and i i request for some onions to go along like anywhere and the waiter said and i quote “for sure” don’t was it for sure no or yes ! they never arrive until you ask them again and finally they arrive to empty plates !! well that’s masala mandi on a weekday with average crowd ! i am sure you must place an order on sat for sunday !! over all - food - 3.5/5

we reserved table on zomato. no one was available to allocate seats for us when we arrived even after asking multiple times. we left masala mandi and headed to more reliable restaurant.ambiencewas good. but poor management..

masala mandi, pure north indian restaurant with both buffet and alacarte.

it's located in sarjapur road.
first of all, theambienceis very good. it's a decent and pleasant environment. it has a big fountain.

now coming to the food, i really like the taste and quality of all items.

started with watermelon cooler, so refreshing and cool.

starters include- paneer tikka, dahi kabab, beetroot tikki, corn malai seekh, nawabi mushroom.

the paneer tikka was so soft and in large size. the beetroot tikki was little bit spicy.
the mushroom starter was so good and tasty. corn malai seekh was my favorite, it was so soft with all the spices added properly.

the main course has dal makhani, biryani, paneer butter masala, butter kulcha, pudina paratha, tandoori roti.

it has large cubes of paneer with a great taste. the biryani was so colorful with lot of cashews, nice aroma. dal makhani was delicious. in the breads i liked the kulcha.

at the end i had rasmalai, which was so sweet with proper amount of almonds. this is really the best dessert.

overall, it was a good experience and truly recommend this restaurant.

recently dropped down to masala mandi for some authentic north indian delicacies. the restaurant'sambienceis perfect for family dine in and even with friends. it's quite spacious and the seating area is comfortable too.

i started with their pina colada mocktails which was very refreshing. followed by that, i tried their dahi ke kebabs which were absolutely divine. i tried their mutton seekh kebab, peshawari paneer tikka and achari fish tikka as starters, it was spicy and really good in taste. i totally recommend.

for main course, i tried their speciality dal makhani. it was so creamy and yummy in taste. even the flavours coming out of prawns masala and tawa paneer masala were so good and went really well with the stuffed kulcha and hari mirch ka paratha.

to end our meal on a sweet note, we tried their rasmalai and shahi tukda. it was perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness and just melted in my mouth.

also, the cherry on the top was their mewa paan which i tried after such a long time. i had such an amazing time dining at masala mandi. would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

from long back, i wanted to visit masala mandi and finally i got chance to visit there, was very exicited to visit and had super delicious and tempting food.
the atmosphere is welcoming and admirable, when i entered i get fascinated by seeing amazingambienceand enviroment.
they have ample space for sitting and they also outdoor sitting area with swings.
the staff is sweet, polite and amicable.
now we come to the most important section which is none other than food section.
they have wide range of variets in food items.
we started our lunch with hot tomato shorba which was very flavorful and was full of spices.

then we ordered some mouth watering starters:

*dahi ke kebab - it is stuffed with fresh hung curd and cotted with nylon sev which makes it crispier from outside.
*corn malai seekh kebab - it is little on sweeter side and have a crunch of corn, was soft as malai.
*paneer tikka angara - it has exotic smoky flavor which enhance its taste and topped with some chilli flakes.
*paneer tikka gurbandi - it is stuffed paneer tikka, stuffed with khova.this is their speciality which you won't find anywhere in bangalore.
you should try this once it is very unique in taste.
*dahi bhalle - in chaats corner it is my favorite dish, so refreshing and topped with thick dahi and chutneys.

along with the starters we took rosemarry apple mocktail which was very refreshing and dipped with fresh rosemarry leaves.

now we come to the main course:

* kadhai paneer - it has perfect level of spicyness and is good choice for main course.
* dal masala mandi - this is my all time favorite, it has perfect brown color and creamy consistency. its taste is so flavorful that you would want to have it more and more.
i highly recommened to try this.
*veg dum biryani- the perfect aroma infused to the rice with lots of veggies and you don’t feel bloated after relishing it.

last but not the least we ended our meal with seasons special dessert gajar halwa, it has right level of sweetness and topped with lots of dryfuits.

the prices are apt for the quality and the portions they served.

i will surely visit there again!!

it’s a good and hygienic place.theambienceis really good and food taste is awesome. tomato soup, dahi kabab, chana chat, veg noodles , garlic naan, aloo palak are must try items . paani puri was also good .

theambiencewas good so as the staffs.the laal maas was delightful. tried kulfi and it was also good only kala khatta drink was not so good.

this placer serves north indian cuisine in as authentic taste as one can get in bangalore, with bonus of super cozy and calmingambienceand great staff. the use of copper utensils gives it a different and premium look.

visited it over the weekend for buffet and paneer tikka in barbecue starter was drool worthy. it was extremely soft and marinated properly to make every bite feel tasty. creamy broccoli was also very good with perfectly balanced marinated broccoli.

dahi bhalla and dahi papadi chaat in live chaat corner is must try. it is prepared in typical delhi style with use of really spongy bhalla.

main course had 3-4 curries in veg including daal makhani and everything tasted really good. really loved the combination of perfectly baked tandoori roti with paneer tikka masala and steamed rice with daal makhani.

desserts option were as many as one can get in a premium buffet. loved the rasmalai, carrot halwa as i tried only these 2. carrot halwa was as delicious as i have had in premium north indian food joints in bangalore.

meet one of my most favourite place to dine in, it's "masala mandi", conveniently located on sarjapur main road. cosy ambience, royal feel, delicious food, courteous staff - this place has many in store to offer. theambiencedeserves a 10 out of 5 ratings. there's ample sitting area. they have some outdoor hanging seats surrounded by greenery, which really is a sight to eyes and it feels great to dine in. the staff is very welcoming. they attend with much professionalism, they keep taking feedbacks from customers, special mention to "suba singh", we are very impressed with his service.
the best part is food, everything we ordered was worth trying. from starters till deserts and drinks, the food is so good in taste..be it their melt-in-mouth dahi kabab or malai chicken tikka or amritsari fish tikka or rasmalai in desserts...everything has a special taste and touch. there's a great range of authentic north indian menu in a reasonable price range and portion.. good enough to make you greedy to try out everything in the menu. i would suggest to go in a group if you want to try many dishes from their menu. they also provide complimentary soup. the food is served in a royal way with traditional copper utensils and good quality and hygiene is maintained.
they have only buffet in weekends(sat and sun). there's enough parking available. they accept all modes of payment (try paying via dineout or zomato pro to get some discounts)
if you are missing a north indian style classy place - then yes, this is the place. i fell in love in the first visit itself.

must try ~ dahi kabab, nonveg platter, biryani, naan/kulcha, chicken chengezi, laal maas, any beverages and desserts.

shuba singh was very friendly and service was great.ambienceis great and food is good. buffet had multiple options.

it was a special family occasion that led me in masala mandi's direction. theambiencewas good and the swings at the table were very inviting.
we selected non veg buffet for all. the food is tasty, but the service was very slow and staff didn't seem to care. we had to ask many times for our starters and even then we got them one by one with a lot of time just waiting.
the quality and taste is good, and if it was not the slow and uncaring staff, i would muster another trip definitely.

we have been meaning to visit this place as we had heard some rave reviews about this north indian specialty restaurant. though tad far from our place we utilised the long dasara week and headed for a mid week dinner. absolutely worth the visit and here’s the experience which is worth sharing -
food - the kala katha as a welcome drink is refreshing and indeed welcoming! the veg food platter consists of dahi ke kebab(absolute melt in mouth), the malai broccoli, paneer gurbandi(khoya stuffed inside paneer, i have never eaten such innovative and sumptuous veg delicacy! ), the nawabi kumbh(button buttered mushroom made in indian spices - very delicious)
the non veg platter included amritsari fish tikka, malai murgh kebab, mathania chicken tikka(they use the famous mathania chillies curated from rajasthan, mildly spicy yet looks fiery red and the combination with the chicken morsels is to die for! the mutton seekh kebab was equally delicious. my favourite was the mathania chicken and the murgh malai tikka - absolute delight and how so well made!
for the main course we ordered their hari mirch ka paratha, beet root paratha and laccha paratha- all the breads tasted great and very unique in its own way specially beet root and hari mirch paratha. we have never tried these varieties ever before! the rajasthani laal maas was the show stealer (the laal maas is indeed very quintessential to rajasthan, the use of loads of garlic and mathania chillies marinated in yogurt with various other spices does the magic and this place gets the taste absolute bang on), lehsuni methi paneer (chunks of cottage cheese marinated in creamy gravy and garlic as a after taste- perfect with lacccha paratha), the butter chicken was equally robust and delicious. last but definitely not the least is their daal makhani, i could literally smell the aroma of butter. very well made.

ambience - theambienceis super spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. lot of green space outside seating evokes lot of positive vibes.

customer service- excellent and very polite

value for money- moderate (with this kind of variety and quality, completely value for money)
we will certainly return again, may be next time for lunch:)
