what a delicious lunch. my date took me to marco's. he said we have to try the best pizza in town.

now whenever we go out for pizza,marco'sgourmet pizzeria is where we enjoy the best variety of gooey hot slices for luch. the crust is always perfectly the best and the delicious sauce is one of a kind.

dope pizza.marco'spizzeria has the best pizza i've ever had. i am a junior at vassar college, and i did not even know that this gem of an establishment existed right down the road until last year, but now that i know, i come tomarco'sabout three to four times a week. the hot heros are delicious as well, i had a chicken parm yesterday in the library, and i think it improved the paper i was writing. also, i try and get a calzone at least at least once a week--they're that good. the owner, gino, always gives me free pizza if i'm short a few dollars, and izzy is the character that keeps me coming back. it's a place like cheers where everyone knows your name, so give it a try, and i promise you won't be disappointed.

my favorite pizza in the world. i started going tomarco'sduring its first spring in 2007 long before it was the arlington/vassar institution that it is today. the first thing that i noticed was that the pizza was hot and fresh. the dough was crispy on the bottom but never dry. and the toppings were packed on, never scattered thinly. gino, the owner and operator ofmarco'smakes every pizza by hand, the old fashioned way. he always remembers his regulars' favorites and even gives vassar students some great deals on pies (especially on superbowl sunday!). because of the variety of slices available at lunch time, on a couple occasions i've eatenmarco'spizza every day for a week without getting tired of it -- its that good. i especially recommend the lasagna pizza with fresh ricotta cheese, the bacon-pineapple, the the chicken-broccoli and the ultra-doughy sicilian. other stuff: there is a large drink selection including vitamin water and in the summer you can cool down with some tasty italian ice.marco'sis certainly the best pizza in the area. it may even be the best pizza in state or the country. go check it out!

real service. real food.. in all of my years of living in ny, my search for the best pizza has ended. i do not live in the poughkeepsie area, i live about an hour south and whenever i want pizza thats the only place i go to. the people are so freindly and the food is great. their garlic knots are different from any other pizza shops i've been too, they are delicious! everything on the menu is made to order and it's made fresh, with real ingridents, not too many pizzeria's use the "real stuff" anymore, butmarco'sdoes and you can taste it in the food.
