the menu is small–gyros, salads, sandwiches, daily specials and a few sides. i went for  the vegetarian platter, because it includes most of the menu items all on one plate…..baba ganoush, falafel with tahini sauce, tabouli, hummus and pita, and dolmas (rice stuffed grape leaves) with yogurt sauce. the falafel, not typically a favorite, was crisp without a hint of oil, the tabouli was fresh and

i’ll just start this out by saying the food is amazing. we’ve been ordering from here for the last 5 years and never had an issue. i’ve raved about this place and have absolutely loved it. recently i’ve noticed that they’ve been slumping on pita. whatever, how you make money i guess. tonight i ordered from seamless for the second time in 2 weeks—like i said the food is amazing. we always get the beef sheesh kebab. apparently they’ve decided to instead give you 2 sheesh kebabs they now give you 1 cut in half. i’ll admit i don’t know why i’m so mad at this. perhaps it’s when i called and complained they said they always had that size of sheesh kebab. i’ll tell you even my husband was miffed and completely noticed the lack of beef, and i was hungry. don’t mess with a hungry mother of 2 young boys. so after ordering from here for 5 years i’d say i’ve never had half sized sheesh kebabs. i’ll say i called seamless and they were sympathetic even though i doubt they could hear me through the cries and grumbles of hunger and reimbursed me for one meal. i think that’s totally fair as i only received 1 meal. i’m sad to say i won’t be ordering from here again until they get their act together and go back to serving what their menu promises. when i promise my oldest 2 cookies and i just give him 1 cut in half, believe me, he notices too!

i really liked the ambiance, the guy who manages the place is really friendly. the food was good and flavorful. we managed a late lunch of fafafel sandwich and veg platter with some mint green tea and baklava. the baklava was made with honey which is different from the rest as most have sugar syrup. however, it wasn't much flaky and crispy. the bread was soft which stayed soft after time.

we asked to swap the dolmas for fafafel, and he did so. along with that he gave us two tahini sauce, one extra for the extra falafels.

it's a nice place if mediterranean food is on your mind.

don't fly by this place without trying it. this is a wonderful little mom-and-pop shop in a forgettable strip-mall on ward parkway, so it's easy to fly by it and never notice the place--especially with a name that tells you little about what's inside. don't let either of those cause you to miss this little gem. the food is wonderfully fresh, clearly prepared with care. the chicken schawarma is my favorite of anywhere i've eaten, hands down the best in kc. the salad is really nice, too, and their chai tea is a real treat (for the extra $1, get the size for two, it's well worth it). the service can be a little slow sometimes but remember it's because this food isn't sitting on a rack waiting for you to come in. this is the kind of place that makes you proud to support the independent restaurant owners and feel good about choosing them over a chain. enjoy!

wow, great food!. wow!

lived in the middle east for several years.....food is authentic and really good! although would have liked aribic rather than greek bread.

on short notice cathy put together an excellent birthday dinner for friend that was perfect and obviously made with love.

try it, you will enjoy or learn what this good food is all about.

so delicious. i was beyond thrilled to learn that chef kamal had opened a spot in my neighborhood. having eaten there several times, i have nothing but praise. chef's lemonade concoctions take me to outer nirvana. everything he makes is beautiful and delicious. i hope that in 5 years, chef has to take over the entire strip mall to accommodate his products and his fans.

great restaurant food for fastfood prices. fresh food. great service. i had a gyro and salad. i say to the guy, 'this cheese is awesome', he replied, 'thanks, i blend it myself'. it really was awesome cheese. :-) he also comes up with these awesome drink combinations like chocolate (and something else) lemonade. crazy! although i didnt try any, the coffee bar looked pretty good. oh yeah, i also had one of those little spinach things with rice inside. i've never liked those before, but they are awesome there. i will be back there many times!

not exactly what i was expecting from the "yummy" guy. for some one that puts out excellent products in the local food stores dairy cases i felt my meal at marble top was okay but not at all excellent. now service (though a little confused) gets an a+ and the atmosphere is inviting-it gets an a too, but the food really only okay, i give it a b. i was disappointed to see that the gyro meat was not cut from a spit-true gyro style-though my husband enjoyed its flavor-salad and hummus good. my vegetarian plate was a masterpiece-so full of beautiful items however here's how i would rate them, dolmas sort of pasty inside and no comparison to mr gyros-c-, hummus-good-c, baba ghanoush-awesome-great texture and flavor-a, tabouli-b+, and the falafel had good flavor but were a little crumbly-b+, the pita was warm and supple. surely, since this is the second week that they are open you can expect some changes and fine tuning which may turn my "b" rating into an "a".

they are also open for breakfast and there was a nice assortment of scones, cinnamon rolls, and assorted pizzas in the display cases-i'm not sure if they are made on site or brought in-the pizza's appeared to have been made on site.

stop in, they are lovely people and i believe you'll like it.
