thisplaceis the real deal. extremely reasonably prices and the food is definitely to die for. simple and homely tasting food served with a smile. only sad part is that they are closed on sunday.. definitely worth a walk in anytime any day.

ambiance is that of a college canteen or dhaba but the food is right up there.. brilliant food

greatplacefor authentic north indian food..
it's a bit clumsy place, but as far as ambience isn't a concern, it's a must go..
prices are unbelievably low!

i have been here a couple of times and both the times, the quality of food was amazing. i couldn't ask for more. i have tried all paranthas and every single one of them is too good. theplaceis a normal hotel with no or little ambience. but the food is simply amazing. the lassi is a must drink. i recommend trying half lassi first because of the large quantity and filling thickness. i would visit again and again just for the lassi. as per the curries, i have tasted dal fry and mushroom curry. both didn't disappoint me at all. if you are a parantha fan, go ahead and visit thisplacewith out a second thought. even if you aren't, go ahead and try it.

i don't stay in bangalore anymore. however, i had been to thisplacefew times during my stay. one of my friend introduced me to this place. being a delhite it becomes difficult to find good north indian food in south. in case you are able to, it won't be cheap.
thisplacewas a bit far from myplacebut worthy enough to travel and have food there. you get authentic and typical desi dhaba food and that too at reasonable prices. i remember we were four friends and enjoyed the meals without crossing 200 bucks.
you might feel theplaceis congested but that's how dhabas are but the service was prompt and one could quickly find a table.
in the end, saves a north indian frm going crazy in south. :p

finally made thisplacea tick on my food checklist...
the first impression of thisplaceis good ... the right vibes hits you as you enter this place...
some good quotes all around theplacewith some authentic punjabi decor adds to the overall atmosphere.
when it comes to food i found it ok , not that great as i expected from a authentic punjabi place. menu is limited which is good in one way.
flavours are ok just like any other restaurant.
my food rating will be 5 out of 10....
the biggest turn off is the restaurant does take cards as the payment option. either pay by cash or paytm.
overall a okplacefor a one time visit...

we are from delhi and i have tried many north indian restaurants in bangalore and most of the food is filled with baking soda and the portions are too small. the taste isn't good either. but thisplacewas a pleasant surprise! we ordered 2 parathas and rajma chaval with lassi and this was the best dinner we've ever had. the rajma was light, perfectly spiced and the parathas were properly filled and soft! the lassi was heavenly and wasn't too sweet either. we are so happy with the food that we ended up calling the establishment to thank the owner. we are definitely going to be ordering more food from here. totally recommend this place!

reached theplaceafter quite a search as google kept winding me up and down the same road. since being the covid times, they were doing parcel. we ordered baingan bharta, kadhi pakode, aloo paratha, onion parantha and jeera rice. theplacewas fairly empty, we were the only ones for around 15 minutes or so. the place's charm is totally lost after multiple changes in location across the same area around ulsoor lake, bangalore. the taste of the food is quite average, nothing great about it, except for the baingan bharta, nothing tasted good. we were clearly disappointed with the food, probably might never go back. other similar places have better taste and quality. parking might be an issue during daytime or post covid situation. better to park it little further and walk down. although will not recommend it to anyone now.

after reading a lot of good reviews, decided to visit the place. it took a while to find theplaceas mentioned by everyone.

coming to the food, it was really good, less oil, less masala...we ordered paneer and mixed paratha, jeera rice, kadi and paneer burji.

the parathas and kadi was awesome! paneer burji was okay...nothing great! the parathas were light! phulkas were so light ! can’t wait to go there again and try their other dishes...

finally ended the meal with gulab jamun which was delicious. it was very soft inside and was served hot!

will visit again soon...

ambience : it’s not a fine dine but gives you a good dhaba feel. the posters were funny ....

service was prompt.

my fren suggested thisplacefor lunch and must say it was worth trying ... it's right next to the bridge and just five min walk from office
food ordered : pulka , dal tadka , aloo mutter , baingan bartha and lassi
every bit of what we ordered tasted too good and we ended up eating more and it gives the touch of home food.
