i have been here a couple of times and both the times, the quality of food was amazing. i couldn't ask for more. i have tried all paranthas and every single one of them is too good. the place is a normal hotel with no or little ambience. but the food is simply amazing. thelassiis a must drink. i recommend trying halflassifirst because of the large quantity and filling thickness. i would visit again and again just for the lassi. as per the curries, i have tasted dal fry and mushroom curry. both didn't disappoint me at all. if you are a parantha fan, go ahead and visit this place with out a second thought. even if you aren't, go ahead and try it.

food is really really good. you can't find any better punjabi food. the pakodas in kadhi are so crispy and delicious, you can't get enough of them.
thelassiis too yumm and too much in quantity. tried all their stuff parathas, can't complain about anything.
totally loved it. just one advice, if you order more than 2 parathas, order separately, they give one butter piece for one plate. so if you order, let's say 3 parathas together, you will get 1 butter piece for all of them.

it’s a decent setup, don’t expect luxury! all you can expect is yummy food....

we are from delhi and i have tried many north indian restaurants in bangalore and most of the food is filled with baking soda and the portions are too small. the taste isn't good either. but this place was a pleasant surprise! we ordered 2 parathas and rajma chaval withlassiand this was the best dinner we've ever had. the rajma was light, perfectly spiced and the parathas were properly filled and soft! thelassiwas heavenly and wasn't too sweet either. we are so happy with the food that we ended up calling the establishment to thank the owner. we are definitely going to be ordering more food from here. totally recommend this place!

it is one of those places that offer you the joy of discovery. it is nestled in a corner near the railway tracks. simple vegetarian food with a hearty glass oflassiis what the restaurant offers.

small place which only serves vegetarian north indian food. had the rotis, paneer burji and curry. also had thelassialong with the meal, happy with the experience.

a great, pocket-friendly dhaba in the neighborhood which is always teeming with people.
hard to find such a pure vegetarian dhaba so extra points for that.
tried: aloo paratha, methi paratha, paneer bhurji, aloo gobi, rajma and jeera rice and of course thelassi(beware - don’t order the ‘full’ size unless you’re sure of finishing it)

this is one of the best places i have been so far. there are many restaurants which will serve you good food, or have good ambiance etc. but few restaurants make you feel good. everything is so perfect about this restaurant. service was nice. since it was manjit the dhaba, so i thought let's try something punjabi. i ordered verity of pratha gobi, muli,or methi ka pratha andlassi. it was delicious 😋 and punjabi theme that made it restaurant stands out of other restaurants. highly recommended.

food here gives an essence of punjab. authentic punjabi dhaba serving good food at reasonable price. must try bhaingan da bhartha,lassiand dal makhni. location is not so good but once you have food here, location will not be a concern. loved it!

"ghar ka khana" .
if you prefer proper north indian food with desi ghee and paneer bhurjee withlassias a side drink , blindly visit this place .

you will be overwhelmed and i am pretty sure you won't stop visiting this place again and again.

i am in love with the ambience food and service.

used to be one of the best restaurant, but not anymore.
upgraded in ambeince.
degraded in quality of food.
no longer thicklassiand same aloo paratha.
portion size reduced to more than half.

never had such delicious paranthas before!! alu parantha and gobi parantha were at their best!! thelassiwas thick and soothing and was served in traditional punjabi big steel tumbler. the rajma chawal was tasty. all in all a tasty budget meal :) will definitely visit this place again..

manjit has now been refurbished and renovated to a new and modern avatar. the old dark restaurant is now painted with bright and vibrant colours and have new art work on the walls probably looking to attract a new demographic of people.
the service here is quick and efficient. as thier food is easy to make and they have a great team of cooks be sure to get your food in a matter of minutes.
the food is absolutely delicious. they gave a set a different parathas which are all delicious. thier phulkas are thin and light and can be eaten by the dozen. thelassihere is delicious but are massive in size. if you're going to order the fulllassimake sure you still have space for it because it's no easy task to finish.
this is probably the only pure veg restaurant in the city i visit regularly and i would suggest everyone to go here if you're in the are or just looking for a pocket friendly option to fill your stomach.

manjit da dhaba has always been known for their amazing, homely food. we had been hunting for good,authentic north indian food in bangalore for ages. we ate so much that we were in food coma.
we ordered paneer paratha, aalu paratha, methi paratha, shahi paneer, dal makhani, rajma masala, buttermilk,lassiand gulab jamun, all of which was the best of whatever we have had in bangalore.
the quantity of everything is perfect and absolutely justifies the price.
the over all ambiance is of a friendly, cute, every day kind of a dhaba. the staff is very friendly and prompt as well. the service is very fast too. overall an amazing experience. would recommend to every foodie.
