mango thai & pan-asian cuisine

wonderful thai day. from time-to-time i enjoy eating some thaifoodand one place that i like to visit when i am downtown is mango thai. they make a delicious and flavourful curry that is well balanced with the variousfooditem that you desire to order. worth while to visit and to make your own judgement....you won't be disappointed.

order their cashew chicken! yum!. this is one of my favourite downtown restaurants in kingston. thefoodis a fair price, around $10 for a meal. i always always order the cashew chicken, but i've had friends enjoy the pad thai there as well. the interior of the restaurant is tired, but please don't let that scare you away. you'll find lots of students dine there, but the dining area is quite long so i don't find people bother each other. i have them deliver to me in the west end of town, so they'll deliver pretty much anywhere in kingston.

i love thefoodthere. everything seems good and the price is very reasonable. the staffs were nice except one of the waitress attitude wasn't that nice.(it seems like they want us to leave as soon as we finish our very last bite) but overall is still a good and valuable restaurant!

goodfoodand atmosphere. i like their pad thai (though it can be a little to saucy at times) and their thai iced tea! i always order it when i eat at the restaurant.

great thai and chinese fusion menu! it's clean, service is fast and thefoodis consistently good! portions are massive so plan to bring some home unless you are very hungry!

i've tried a lot of the items on the menu here over the years. the place is cheap and thefoodis decent. i find the rice dishes here are only average, where you can get the exact same dishes but better at other places in kingston. however, i do like the pad thai that they make here, there is a sour tang in the sauce that i actually like a lot. would recommend the pad thai.

choose a different resturant. i have been coming to this restaurant for the past year and the service andfoodquality has went downhill. the past three times i have dined in, the servers have either forgot my order, overcharged me for my meal, and put items in thefoodthat were requested to be taken out. i never once got an apology, only excuses that the staff are being trained. along with no apology, there was never an effort to discount my order after purchasing two drinks and waiting 50 minutes forfoodthat was never brought to my table. after numerous let down from dining in, i thought i would try my luck with take out. after requesting to have two orders of house and vegetable pad thai with no tofu, once again i was let down. both orders had tofu and the noodles had barley any sauce on them. this restaurant used to be my favorite thai cuisine, but unfortunately due to declining service andfoodquality, i will never return to this restaurant again.

laura. brutal!! they messed up our delivery order and their solution was that we pay the fee again. i said "no, it was your error". their other solution was that we give them back the otherfoodand they will pay the delivery fee! to think of all of the lovely things i could do to thatfoodand they are going to re-sell it! just think, you could be getting "second-hand food"....yum! i am going to report them because there must be laws against this!

not the best pan-asian in kingston!. there are definitely better places along princess than this! i ordered the green curry shrimp and didn't even get green curry! thefoodis alright for the price and it's pretty fresh, but this should neva be your go-to!

my husband and i had never been to mango, so we decided to go. never again. the problem started when i tried to order thai iced coffee. they were out. ok, fine, thai iced tea. still a no go. fine. i ordered vegetable rolls and lemongrass beef vermicelli. hubs ordered roasted duck rolls (special). he asked what is the hottestfooditem they have and the server told him to get the green curry.
it took over half an hour to get our drink orders (water!) and apps. and almost an hour to get our food. the lemongrass beef was tepid. the supposedly spicestfoodthey make was mild enough we could give it to our 11 month old. the chicken and beef were dry. the servers were very apolegetic, but offered nothing. they seemed to have an excuse for everything. they also seemed to spend a lot of time messing with the point of sale machine or chatting.

it's alright. thefoodwas alright, nothing really special, and the prices were a bit higher than average.

avoid mango. thefoodis mediocre, the amount of actual meat you get is very little, and the tables are all crammed together so tight that your always no more than 1 foot from your neighbor. i would recommend going to the thai house instead - its here in kingston, its cheaper, way better food, and better décor :)

love. this is the best thaifoodin kingston! i ordered the hot and sour chicken soup, panang curry, chicken spring rolls and beef stir fry. all were excellent! regularly going to order from here!!

excellentfoodat a great price!. my mom and i took my pregnant sister there just before her due date in november 2012 and we were extremely happy with our selections. everything was ultra tasty and we did not break the bank! we were very happy with the service.

i am again in kingston and hope to go there tomorrow and order the green curry dish - it was so good last time that i can still taste it!

absolutely horrible service! never again!. horrible service, horrible food, horrible horrible!! we waited close to two hours for food. two hours. and the foods arrived cold. cold. when we called them - they would not take thefoodback, they would not remake the foods. they only offered us 10% discount on future order. really? we spend $50 on food, wait 2 hours, get it cold.. and 10% of our next order (not this one.. next order). when i asked to talk to the manager.. i was flat our refused. something about policy?? customers can't talk to manager about coldfoodarriving 2 hours late?

this place will not get my money or any of my friends money. there are much better, cheaper alternatives at kingston for thai food. avoid mangos at all costs.
