we had devilled pork, phat freddie burger , pork pepper and sausage noodles. the burger as usual wasgoodand very filling. their pork preparation is brilliant especially the devilled pork with the right balance of spice and sour. even the pork pepper was good. the noodles was brilliant without the extra sauciness and oil. one of the best noodles and pork that we have had in mangalore.

its an awesome placegoodambience... but the service is not up to the mark. the special is the 'phat freddie burger' its worth the cost and filling too. the burger is much better than mcdonald's

the pork chilli is really good. even the burgers are good.
whenever we are in mangalore we always take parcels from mangala. though i think lately there has been a dip in the taste but nevertheless it's still good.

the ambience is alsogoodand great music.

it was the diwali day & we could not get any transport to the restaurant. thanks to zomato we ordered our favorite pork dishes with sannas. agoodexperience.

this place is a must visit if you are anywhere near mangalore, also if you are into authentic mangalore and goan food. they made me suchgoodlunch, that was perfect portion for my appetite and also got to drink some nice booze along with it. the place is a bit cramped up, but does the magic to your authentic food cravings. this place is a 40+ year old venture and they keep up that standards. again dnt judge this place by the looks, but walk in and taste the dishes and see the magic to yourself. moreover the owner is a very nice and a chilled out person who understands the hunger language. thanks to you guys for such an amazing delicacy😋😋😋😍

a cozy place tucked in the busy streets of mangalore. if you are in mangalore or even passing by, you have to stop and try out mangala. a person who loves foodie will enjoy this heaven. you have to try everything on the menu (which means you should visit the place multiple times) but, you have to try the phat freddie! also, the pork chops. walk-in with agoodappetite, so go light with your breakfast or build one for dinner. they have agoodchoice of refreshments that perfectly compliment the burgers, or chops, or even their squid biryani! a definite 5/5.

had ordered pork pepper roast and prawns fried rice . pork had less quantity and fried rrice hadgoodquantity

been here on saturday after a decade. used to visit during college. was not very crowded but decent. ordered prawns masala fry, which tastedgoodas also the quantity was satisfying. they have fish in green masala on weekends. the waiter on asking said that its some green color used for masala which made me a bit skeptical to order. so i asked a person at the counter, looked like the person who manages the place, who was very clear that they do not use any color but the masala is of mint and palak. he recommended green masala ghee roast of anjal. for me that was the best green masala i had in recent times. green masala fish roasted in ghee with 80s music in the background. highly recommended, a must try.
advice to management - getting people to work at restaurants is very very difficult in mangalore as most of them are from northern part of karnataka. but advisable to train them.

sumptuous beef n pork dishes.. (try barbeque pork and beef pepper fry), aappam n stew make a great pair.. noisy.. decent music,goodambience..

amazing ambience , music wasgood. nice place to be with friends . 10% off for students . tried the burgers. they were the best. the cheese loaded fries were also amazing . biryani wasgoodthough the quantity is reduced as of before . kheema rice was also tasty😍

good ambiance. slightly dingy butgoodmusic and decor. nonveg foodies will love the place. burgers are a must try. pork items are great. the quantity is decent so watch how much to order. do try the phar freddy. it's heavy. service is sometimes fast sometimes slow. but staff has a decent idea of the food items.goodfor a small group outing. usually don t require prior table reservation.

if you are pork lover like me, then this is the place for you to visit. succulent pork dishes that are sogoodto blow your mind away. i have visited this place multiple times and my favorites definefitly is the classic pork bafat and the pork roast. the combination of soft fresh appams and pork bafat is a match made in heaven. apart from this their other pork dishes like roast, ginger pork, the pork salad etc are also excellent. though the service is a little slow, the the taste of the food is worth the wait😍.

on my visit to mangalore, i got a chance to visit only two restaurants this week. this restaurant didn't meet my expectations. why? i had visited this restaurant 4-5 years back and they exceeded my expectations with what i ordered back then.

during my this visit, i took along few of my people assuming that the place would be as impressive as before but it just didn't meet my expectations.

it is a bar & restaurant visited my family and friends. it'sgoodfor all those people who wish to have food with a few drinks. otherwise, for non drinkers, there are better places out there.

my sole purpose to visit was to try the phat freddie burgers and few of other favorites. none were impressive though.

i ordered the below:
phat freddie burger with pork
phat freddie burger xxl with beef
the patty for both tasted so similar that i could differentiate between both. the xxl burger came with an sunny side egg. both were served with chips.

spicy chicken sausages: the portion was less in comparison to the price.

bbq chicken wings: overcooked chicken wings in bbq sauce.
