came here for a few birthday meal. overall, it is alright in terms of taste. the green beans, fried salmon andmongoliangrill were decent, and so was some of the decade dessert. some of the sushi were a little soggy - could be the rubber they use.

we hadn't been in a couple years, but one of my daughters and i stopped here tonight. there was nothing that tasted good. i am serious. themongolianin the middle? no sauces on it. even dousing with soy didn't give it flavor. my daughters plate had some flavor to it, so she ate hers. some of the dim sum bites? i took a second, maybe even a third bite, then left the rest. soup. yuck. all the way home and since my stomach has just roiled. it was plain icky.

the one thing that tasted fairly good was the potstickers. but they had no dipping sauces for them.

the worst was as i was paying the $40 bill (yes, $20/each for a buffet), i told her that i had eaten hardly anything because the food was so bad. "oh! i am so sorry!" ka ching. any other restaurant where you leave having turned away more food than you ate would have discounted at least one of meals. nope.

most of the food really lacks quality, but i mean it's a buffet, haha. plus, you can get a free meal on your birthday, which i think is completely reasonable to get despite the quality. i think the best option for this place is themongoliangrill; out of everything, i think that's the best tasting.

decent buffet. relatively inexpensive, clean, well lit buffet restaurant which offers a mix of chinese, japanese (average but broad selection of sushi), and a few american dishes (such as cheese pizza).

they also incorporate amongoliangrill.

wait staff is attentive and prompt.

dishes range from a boring, over-sauced kung pao chicken and vegetables to excellent baked mussels, tender frog legs, smokey grilled whole fish and a spicy pork and vegetable stir fry.

if you're not particularly interested in anything else, at least we again have a small but mostly sufficient, all-you can-eatmongoliangrill in bellevue/redmond area.

overall: acceptable food. good value for the price.mongoliangrill is a plus.

not great. themongoliangrill was the best-tasting food there. everything else was bland and tasteless. i suppose you can't complain for the price.

for those of you who don't know what a super buffet is, it is literally a "super buffet." there are special areas for different types of foods. they have amongoliangrill, a fried food section, a soup section, a seafood section, a sushi section, a chinese food section, a salad section, a dessert section...you get the point. they even have pizza, french fries, and self-serve ice cream. some of the things are just
