manci's antique club restaurant

first- i need you to know that today you lost multiple customers and food reviews. we drove 20 minutes out of the way of our trip to florida to come here. we were really looking forward to it. we arrived to the restaurant at 2:05. we sat down immediately as it was not lunch rush hour. we placed our drink and food order within 5 minutes. we ordered 5 different burgers with pre-done sides such as chips, pasta salad, potatoe salad.

then, there was the wait. it wasn't a regular wait or a rush hour wait - but a slow painful never ending wait. the waitress would pass by once in awhile and tell us the order is cooking now, it's nearly ready, it's being 'put together'....we waited 30, 45, 60 minutes...we asked about our order 3 times. there were two entire tables who came in the door after us, sat down, ordered, ate, and left...still no food. we set atimeto leave 3:30 and that too was passed. the service was horrific and we never got our food. there was no intervention, no apologies, no good business practice.
as we left, another family drove up with two kids and asked us how it was - we told them we had no idea because we waited 1 hour 20 minutes and never got our food. they left too...
i hope this can be rectified...or you will be closing your doors within 6 months.

glad they closed down!. it's abouttimethey closed the doors on this place! it was a hole in the wall with crappy food and an owner that was rude and grumpy!!! so glad it see it's gone!

usually good but.... i've been here twice. the firsttimewas good, we had 6 people and called in the order. the meal went smooth and the food was good. went back today for a work birthday lunch and called the order in, but some people were unable to make it. this irritated the server so much she essentially stopped serving us. almost refused to get us anything else to include refills, utensils, or to go boxes. after this treatment i do not know if i will ever go back which is unfortunate because the food was good. all in all your trip may be hit or miss, good luck.

i never have walked out of a restaurant until the day i went to manci's but the service was so horrible right from the get-go that by thetimethe waitress came and threw the drinks at us we had to leave. they almost hit my child with it. we were in a large group and everyone felt the same way. we paid for our drinks and left. it's a shame too, bc the only reason we were going is because guy from diners, drive ins, & dives highly recommended it. my mom is from spain and the staff was the rudest to her...

great burgers. outstanding burgers in a very eclectic place. nexttimewill eat at the bar as this is the kind of place where that would be fun.
