majestic grille

good lunches. the burgers are very flavorful and the service is nice. the flatbreads are very crispy and fresh. the parmesan fries are also very good - shoestring fries dusted with delicious cheese. i have gone here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

we went for sunday brunch. i started with the mimosa, and then we ordered biscuits (apparently complimentary) and for my meal i ordered the filet mignon benedict and the cheese grits. steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, all of the flavors were delicious, the cheese grits are some of my favorite i've ever had. the roasted potatoes that came with it weren't my favorite, but they tasted fine. our server (kevin i think) was a prime example of a great waiter. i absolutely lived it all, especially for the price!

hit or miss. i've got to the majestic about 1/2 dozen times. this place needs to do well in a city like memphis. great ambiance, great, appeal, hit or miss service and quality. while at lunch today 15+ party, probably medium volume at best in the entire joint. food took 45 minutes to come out (lunch), when we asked for bread @ about 30 minutes, the waiter said "oh, yeah, i can bring you some bread, i just had to wait until you asked for it." "we won't fill your water glass unless you ask for more water", was second. lastly, as he's taking up credit cards "just to you know, its an automatic 20% gratuity and a fee for each of you who ate a piece of the cake that was brought in". if a food establishment is so concerned for the environment and their "impact" just charge me an extra $2.00 keep your comments to yourself, keep my water glass filled, put bread on the table and get me a fork and plate for some coconut cake. jerks!!!! oh, in fairness to the majestic the final quote was "i talked to my manager and he said it would be ok this one time not to pay the cake fee, but if we came in again, we would have to pay." brilliant.

absolutely wonderful. the majestic is a beautiful space with consistently good food. the brunch on sunday is quite the experience with live music, delicious food and the best bloody mary i have ever had. the staff is courteous and attentive. overall, one of my favorites in memphis.

delicious!. i just tried this place out for the first time today. the food was amazing to say the least. everyone should give it a try!

a best friend encouraged me to try the pork tenderloin and the candied carrots.....i almost steered in another direction because i love ahi tuna. i told the waiter my struggle on what i should order and he also suggested the pork tenderloin. let me just say....so yummy!!!! i kept saying i was full but could not stop eating!!! ate every bite!!!! if you go there you have to try this menu item!

the woman who checked us in recommended that we dine at the majestic grille . it was a short walk from our hotel which was good, but unfortunately the food wasn't. i was excited for my appetizer the cajun chicken eggrolls. it was massive though so my first lesson in memphis food was the portions are large. the rolls were filled with blackened chicken, corn, cheddar, goat cheese, red onion, cilantro and creole mustard sauce. i was quite happy with it, but didn't finish it. i decided to try something different for my entrée. i don't know what i was thinking but i decided to order the shrimp and scallop linguini. i think i got excited about the shrimp and scallop but completely ignored the roasted tomato cream. i despise cream sauce. i don't do alfredo or any other creamy sauce. it was gross. i had a couple of bites and quit. unfortunately, several hours later, i got to ta

love the concept and environment but the food is less than spectacular. i tried it twice and was very disappointed both times. i won't be back a third time.

poor food poor service. this was the worst dining experience i have ever had in the ten years i have lived downtown. food was inedible, server disappeared, and person who said he was owner could care less. do not eat here if you are going to the orphium......the food takes forever and is inedible!!!!!!

poor service. i was disappointed in the service i received when dining at this restaurant. my server was rude and non-attentive. i inquired about the mixed drinks available and she pushed the drink menu in my face and moved on to another person in my party. after we were able to finally order, she only gave us one appetizer. she dropped this appetizer on the table and as she walked on, she mumbled about how we have to share this appetizer because the other one was going to come out with our entree. i spoke with the host, which was very apologetic and pleasant. i spoke to the owner, whom i must say was not helpful or concerned at all. the owner made me feel as though i was not a priority. she just smiled and said she was sorry several times. my experience was horrible and i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

enjoyable dinner. overall a very good experience. both the bread and flatbread pizza appetizer were tasty and the aged steak was delicious, really. their spinach ravioli was tasty, but much stronger in spice/pepper than expected, so keep that in mind. service was okay, although we did not sit inside the restaurant as it was a nice night and the outside eating area is nice and bordering a cute street with only trolleys and horse carts on it.

great atmosphere with old movies playing on a large screen. i had the grilled mahi mahi with garlic mashed potatoes, very good. my sister loved the salmon dish. nice wine selection, just a short walk from beale street enjoy

very relaxed. i enjoy majestic. great food with a good drink menu and a very relaxed environment. they can be a bit on the slow side but the end result is delicious food. if you are looking for a good place to enjoy the company of friends for a few hours this is a great place to go.

mimosas!!!!. love the mimosas and the flatbread! excellent service, excellent food. i highly recommend the majestic grill for all those who like real eggs and real breakfast, not the fast food crap.
