casual gourmet? you got it!!!. nice little restaurant in downtown bryan. great food, always fresh and some of the best service in town. chefmadden'sis a wonderful professional and he is hands on in the kitchen. management is super professional and they genuinely want to make sure you leave happy.

one of my favorite places in cstat. by now i've eaten atmadden'sseveral times. it's been my go-to restaurant when i feel like eating gourmet food and not completely breaking my bank. the atmosphere is refreshing and sophisticated, which is one my favorite things about this place. it's a wonderful escape from fast-food and chain restaurants. the food is amazing and i have yet to try something that i don't like. whether it is their crab cakes, poblano pepper soup, or meatloaf, each plate is delicious. i 100% love this place and recommend it to anyone i know!!!

i go tomadden'soften and every time the food and service is good the prices are great and the menu is small my wife and daughter have to eat glutin free and there are a lot of items they can eat even desert options i would recommend it to anyone

oh my goodness. another successful urbanspoon search in a city far from home.madden'sstood out to us with fine dining without the pretense. located in the historic downtown of bryan, close to the world famous texas a&m university,madden'swas a beautifully designed restaurant that exceeded expectations. a friendly, knowledgeable staff were as helpful and energetic even though our late night arrival. the food; a brilliant menu of fresh, homegrown ingredients matched by the flair of a master chef. to have such flavorful seafood that far from the coast; meat that you could cut with the butter knife; and desserts that only added to the complete fullness of the night... bravo! hard for me to designate a favorite restaurant butmadden'swas well earned!

simply amazing. i eat atmadden'severy week and have never had a bad meal. their lunch is awesome and their dinner is truly amazing. try the tomato bisque as a starter and go for the meatloaf (you'll love it) or the green chile burger for lunch. for dinner, you can't beat their filet or any of their specials. and don't leave without dessert. peter madden can do no wrong in my book.

good food in a nice atmosphere. my favorite part aboutmadden'sis that it is open to the antique mall- it creates a unique atmosphere. i have been taken here for several recruiting events in college and was always impressed with the food.

a real treat!!!.madden'scasual gourmet is an amazing establishment! chef petermadden'sdishes are some of the best that i have ever had because he has a true understanding of flavor and texture and every single one of his dishes is an adventure. the presentation of his plates is superb and he uses top notch fresh ingredients in all of his dishes. the bread and the mixed herb dipping sauce are simple and extremely tasty starters to the meal. i would recommend the tomato bisque, a simple bistro dish that chef madden kicks up a notch with the addition of some fresh mozzarella and topped off with some saffron whipped cream and basil. i have been to this restaurant twice and the first time i ordered the seared sea scallops (the risotto was fabulous) and the second time i ordered the seared snapper which combined with the corn, crab, and avocado fritter and topped with a tomato beur blanc was a dish to remember forever!
