extremely terrible service. i normally don't do this, but we had absolutely terrible service.
my husband and i tried lucky 13 on 06/16/2012 for the very first time. when we first walked in, the doorman just stared at us, not welcoming us, not asking us for our id's, anything. we hand him our id's, and since we haven't been there before, weren't familiar with seating and whatnot.
when we sat down, we were greeted by the waitress, amy, and asked if we wanted some drinks and a menu. we ordered drinks, and she gave us a menu. she came back after about 10 minutes, and we placed our order. it would have beengreatservice if she would have given us at least the courtesy to let us know that the food would take at the minimum 30 minutes. if the expectation was set, we wouldn't be as upset as we are. amy wasn't attentive to our table at all. she seemed to take care of her outside tables fairly well, but only came to check on our food when i was able to flag her down. it took close to an hour before we even got our food. and to set the bar here, 2 sets of customers that sat down 20-30 minutes after us got their food within 5-10 minutes of when we received ours.
i couldn't say whether or not the food is even worth coming back for. the service there is extremely unsatisfactory. i would hope that they would train their employees to set the bar, and to be attentive to all of their customers, and to at least try to make things right instead of making excuses. we are ones that tip even if the service isn't that great, but tonight, the waitress, the doorman, and the guy that served our food, ruined our dining experience.
