i loved this little cafe when it was in it's old location. they had incrediblecoffeefrom monkey joe's in kingston, and the small but unique menu was full of tasty combinations of fresh veggies and well seasoned salmon, roast beef, and crab cakes. they had amazing breakfasts- including a spicy breakfast salad and curried tofu.. their version of eggs benedict was awesome- as was their french toast. sad to say that since they've moved to the new location i have been disappointed with the food and the coffee. i have eaten there 3 times since they re-opened - including opening night- and as recently as yesterday- and the food is plain, uninspired, sand yesterday my breakfast was cold. i asked the waitress is my eggs were supposed to cold in the breakfast salad (which i've had in the past) and she was non-committal and unconcerned. i hope mark the owner is able to turn it around and bring the quality back to where it was.

tiny but cute. we had the type a love bites omelette and the zucchini corn fritters w/poached eggs. we were also able to get a single scrambled egg for my toddler despite no kids menu which was nice. thecoffeewas great and paired nicely with a monster oatmeal cookie for dessert

warm, cozy, delicious. love bites is my favorite restaurant for breakfast/brunch. we are greeted very warmly as friends into their home and offeredcoffeepromptly upon seating. the specials board is always the best place to start when choosing your meal as they are seasonal, local and fresh. this winter they will be serving waffels all the time! the regular menu is just as unique yet comforting as well with their coconut-carrot french toast (soaked and grilled with maple syrup and vanilla-citrus butter) and the green toast and eggs (avocado smeared on toast with eggs). the service is great and the food preparations and presentation are pleasing to the palate as well as the eye.
