nice people,greattacos, low prices.  what else could you want in a taqueria?

i recommend the carne asada and pork in green chile tacos.  the aqua de jamacia is also a favorite.

this is a nice little taqueria in a part of town flush with decent little taco spots and trucks. the staff is always friendly and there is no language barrier. i have never felt nervous about ordering here like i have other places. they have good tacos and a pretty extensive menu for a small place. i recommend their pork tortas (sandwich) or a chicken quesadilla. it can get a little pricey when you start ordering a la carte but their combos are quite reasonable.greatfor lunch.

things have changed!. i used to like this place a lot. the carne asada in particular was so flavorful and tender. went yesterday and there is a new menu and prices are up by about 30%. i was willing to pay the extra cost forgreatfood, but the quality is gone. meat was just grey and tasteless with gristle and veins in it. i didn't recognize anyone working there. could be a change in ownership. who knows. so disappointing when one of your go-to places loses it's luster. seriously bummed. on the hunt for a replacement.

if you like bland food.... we had high hopes for this place especially with all thegreatreviews. unfortunately the food was just bland, like no seasonings at all bland. we ordered a variety of items too, so it was not like we just ordered the wrong thing. the only seasoning was hot sauce and we were very disappointed. it was a clean place though.

i love this place! i really enjoy authentic good and this is no let down. the food isgreatand atmosphere is fun. it's like a taco stand, yet inside. order at the counter and sit and wait. no chips and dip here, but nevertheless...awesome food.

this place agreatlittle authentic mexican eatery. they have raised the prices though and where as i used to say it was agreatcheap taco joint i would no longer say that. for 3 people you will spend close to 30$. but there's nothing on the menu that's not good and they are pretty quick.

best street tacos in okc. a group of us from work regularly stop in for the best tasting authentic mexican food. they havegreatservice, are nice and friendly and priced right. they have mexican sodas to get your sugar fix at lunch or fresh iced tea and water. the street tacos are made with fresh corn tortillas, your choice of meat and fixin's. they also have gorditas, burritos, quesadillas, breakfast tacos and much more. grab some friends and try it out, you'll be their again i promise.

a tasty quick stop! make no mistake, if you're looking for a full on mexican spread for dinner, this isn't your place. los comales is agreatquick meal served a bit more a la carte as far as the menu goes. the carne asada quesadillas are delish and they certainly don't skimp on the meat!! the pork and green chile tacos havegreatflavor but will knock you on your arse. not for those even just a little sensitive to heat. we'll definitely re-visit. no frills, just tasty!

yummy and cheap. slow service though. took them forever to make 3 tacos. the flavor wasgreatand the green sauce knocked me on my rear, wow thats hot.

muy bueno!!. delicioso! that's spanish for "i love love love this place." i had the carne asada torta, and got to taste the chicken taco, barbacoa burrito and a few other dishes. everything was delicious. the generous proportions of meat on each dish was very impressive, and makes for agreatvalue. make no mistake, they surely use copious amounts of manteca (lard) but man! does that enhance the flavor. two sauces on the table, a verde sauce with a little punch, and a roasted chile red sauce, again not too hot, and both magnificent. i can't wait to go back for the breakfast burrito, and everything else on the menu for that matter. don't let the location deter you, this isn't really that bad a place. maybe don't go alone at night, but i wouldn't hesitate to go with others after dark, and certainly no problem alone in daytime. either way, this is so worth the drive. authentic and delicious!

great breakfast. best breakfast tacos i've found anywhere ! you're always going to find the best food on the south side, friendliest folks too, no pretense here, just good tacos, lots of meat andgreatbreakfast taco's that you can get anytime of the day.
the gorditos are very good also, fast friendly service and clean place with reasonable prices, come try it !
